With David and Matt Ames as mentors, expect great things from Colonial Capital Group PLC

“That’s quite a team!

With quite a track record: ruined lives, pensions destroyed, homes lost. Suicides. Marriage breakups. Families falling apart as the work of a lifetime vanishes.”

The Ames Gang rides again…

These guys just won’t quit.

Last March saw Harlequin’s Matthew Ames jailed for 40 months for his Forestry for Life fraud that took £1.6million from investors. Ames stole from the rich, from the poor, from widows and pipefitters.

Matt Ames was an equal opportunity swindler who dressed well and talked with such easy confidence that people immediately trusted him. And, hey… didn’t his family develop the acclaimed Harlequin Resorts? Yeah… shouldn’t be any problem with investing in Forestry For Life. Even James Middleton was in the picture! (Oh… you don’t know James? Ah… you might be more familiar with his sister Kate and brother-in-law William: as in “our future King and Queen”.)

One of Matt Ames’ colleagues at Forestry for Life was Kevin Neil – then on the rebound from seeing the High Court shut down his two property firms in the public interest – Agri Ventura PLC and Farm Venture Ltd. Neil was also the main figure in the CleanTech NRG financial collapse.

Three of Kevin Neil's CleanTech victims

Three of Kevin Neil’s CleanTech victims. Despite all Mr. Neil’s current directorships and past failed companies, we couldn’t find a photo of Mr. Neil. Can anyone assist?

The Mirror UK called Neil’s business a “Landbanking scam” and reported…

“Nine so-called landbanking outfits have been put into compulsory liquidation following investigations by the Insolvency Service’s Companies Investigation Branch… Agri Ventura Plc and Farm Venture Ltd were run by 47-year-old Michael Davies of Southampton and Kevin Neil, also 47, of Chelmsford, Essex.”

Mirror UK, February 24, 2010 Web of landbanking companies smashed

With Matt Ames headed for jail in the United Kingdom, Mr. Neil headed for Chicago USA to pump an investment scheme based upon acquiring, renovating and reselling repossessed homes with low-income (read “on the dole”) tenants under the USA’s “Section 8” housing programme.

But, Neil needed some help… and who better to ask than one of the team from the David Ames / Harlequin collapsed Ponzi scheme?

So Harlequin’s Jonathan Parslow was brought on board as account manager at Colonial Capital.

That’s quite a team!

With quite a track record: ruined lives, pensions destroyed, homes lost. Suicides. Marriage breakups. Families falling apart as the work of a lifetime vanishes.

According to Open Company, Kevin Antony Neil is a director of many UK companies…

Colonial Capital Group Plc
Colonial Property Limited
Colonial Capital Ltd
Colonial Capital No1 Ltd
Colonial Capital No2 Ltd
Cleantech Nrg Limited
Agri Ventura Plc

Hey… why does Colonial have so many different companies registered in the UK? Do they have different companies registered in the USA too? Why can’t we find a photo of Mr. Neil online anywhere? There are no photos of any executive at his current company website, Colonial Capital Group Plc. Strange… or maybe not so strange?

Just what company and whom are we dealing with when we write that check and hand it to Kevin Neil and his friends?

May God bless keep his hand on the Colonial Capital Group investors who trust this Ames Gang spinoff with their pensions and future.

Is the harlequin cash being used now to finance a new business targeting Americans? Confused! Has Ames moved there yet then or soon?

  7. Same old pigs at the trough

  10. Dave's bit of gash

Is it that fat bitch that worked as a sales manager rough as a bears arse big loud gob, was shagging Ames.

  11. Bottom feeder

It would appear this is none other than the ex sales director of harlequin Katherine Wooler. I wonder if she will also copy the Harlequin business model.

  12. Realationships

Tailormade (in liquidation) sold SCS farmland. They have joined up with Holkham.

Holkham are part of Powerscourt who sold SCS farmland. They told agents they would be left alone, in return for sending them clients. And of course a split of the non profit.

Wooler was the network sales director of Harlequin, who has joined Colonial Capital.

PHIG is run apparently by Dave Ames brother in law.

PHIG brokered a deal with Powerscourt and Holkham (the unregulated company) was created.

    Dave Ames promotes Holkham.
