Battle of Broken Hill: 100 years since the first jihadist terror attack in Australia

Alma Cowie, Katrina Dawson (r): murdered in Australia by foreign jihadists 100 years apart

Alma Cowie, Katrina Dawson (r): murdered in Australia by Muslim jihadists 100 years apart

One hundred years ago, January 1, 2915, two Muslim immigrants to Australia launched jihad attacks on a Sunday excursion train, killing four and wounding several others before being killed by police, in what became known as the Battle of Broken Hill.

On December 15, 2014, a Muslim cleric took hostages at gunpoint in a Sydney Australia cafe and held up an ISIS terror flag in the window. Thanks to Sheikyermami.com for the photos of the two victims one hundred years apart.

The list of murders to please Allah (P.BUH) between those two dates is impressive, and surely must be pleasing to the Muslim prophet who himself loved to behead, rape and enslave infidels – and instructed that his followers do the same.

The Holy Koran instructs all good Muslims to commit acts of violence to spread the religion and political system called Islam.

So that’s exactly what followers are doing.

Any questions?

Trinidad Islamic Coup – July 27, 1990

Nothing has changed.

Strike that.

The 2014 Muslim Jihad is much, much worse around the world.

But the 1990 Trinidad Jihad was a warning.

Heroic NYC police women foil Car Bomber in Times Square, New York City – Defused after failed ignition

Police robot at Times Square

UPDATED: May 2, 2010 6:43pm

When we wrote this article the story was still breaking close to the event. Like any developing story new details emerge after the first few hours and they continue to emerge even today.

Since our story was published the following has been reported… Remember… This too will change!

Summary of the news to this time…

– Various reports credit a local street vendor as seeing the smoke first and calling over a patrolling officer. The vendor is a black Vietnam veteran named Lance Orton. Other vendors are mentioned in some other news articles as being either “first” or there as part of a group of vendors who all alerted the police at virtually the same instant. One of the vendors is Duane M. Jackson. Another is Hamid Boubain.

– In any event, one or some of the vendors alerted a Police officer on horseback, Wayne Radigan, who called for the cavalry and started evacuating the area. The two female officers (called “rookies” in some stories) were apparently next to arrive only seconds after Officer Radigan.

– Some reports state that the driver of the vehicle left it running and escaped into an alley where he removed his shirt and exposed another colour of shirt underneath as he ran off. He is described as “white” and there are probably videos of him but who knows how good they will be.

– The SUV was originally said to have been stolen. Reports now say that it was marked for “scrap” at a Texas scrapyard but had scrapped Connecticut license plates on it.

– The explosive device that failed to detonate was comprised of two three propane tanks, two jerry cans of gasoline, some commercial-grade fireworks, two clock timers and a metal box with contents as yet unknown two hundred pounds of fertilizer. (AP: NYPD: Video has possible SUV bomb suspect in alley)

– There seems to be an attempt by some in the media to minimize the seriousness of the event by pointing to the jury-rigged nature of the bomb and the fact that propane tanks were the apparent main power of the device. While we can thank God it didn’t go off and that it wasn’t some huge bomb as Muslim fascists used when they almost took down the World Trade Center on February 26, 1993 – the device could have killed or injured many people on a Saturday night in crowded Times Square. Anyone doubting that should do a little research on “bleve” (boiling liquid expanding vapour explosion) with only a single BBQ propane tank.

Here’s what the Commissioner of Police had to say… “We were lucky it didn’t detonate,” the New York police commissioner, Raymond Kelly, told a press conference. “In my judgment, it would have caused casualties, a significant fireball. I’m told the vehicle would have been cut in half.”

For me, the words “Vehicle would have been cut in half” while parked at the Times Square Marriott as the Saturday night crowds walked by illustrates that this could have or would have caused injuries or deaths.

– The Pakistan Taliban allegedly claimed responsibility on a jihadist website, but this often happens even when a suspicious event is later proven to not have been terrorist related (ie: the huge power shutdown on the eastern USA a while back).

– That’s what we see in the news at this time. No doubt our readers will fill in other pieces or make corrections as the news develops. Some BFP bashers in the comments section seem to take great delight that once BFP posted our story we weren’t on hand to update it with new developments every hour. Hey… if ya want minute by minute news turn on the satellite tv!

Here is our original story as posted shortly after the first reports Saturday night…

Car bomb fails to detonate in New York City’s theater district

Times Square in New York was evacuated on Saturday evening after two female police officers confronted a man who was trying to detonate a car bomb. The man escaped into the Times Square crowds as a flash and smoke were erupted from the rear of a parked Pathfinder SUV – later determined to have been stolen. The police bomb squad eventually used a robot to defuse an explosive device consisting of propane tanks, unknown powder (identified as gunpowder in some news reports), gasoline cans and an attached electronic device with burned wires.

The most recent reports (3am Sunday May 2, 2010) indicate that the wires were somehow connected to the nearby Marriott Hotel. (NY Daily News: Cops stop Times Square car bomb from detonating; Robot finds gun powder, wires in car)

Odds are this was another Muslim Terror attack

Although the authorities aren’t publicly speculating on the motive for the car bomb in the crowded theater district at 45th Street and Broadway on a Saturday evening, you can bet that Muslim fascists are #1 on the list of suspects, and rightly so. Could the suspect have another motivation? Could it be a rogue Catholic priest or misunderstander of Seventh Day Adventism? Attempted suicide terror by a de-frocked Baptist preacher?

Let’s just say that I wouldn’t bet on anything but Muslim fascists. I might be wrong, but I wouldn’t bet against it.

For those who have been sleeping since 9/11, here’s a very partial list of US-based Misunderstanders of the peaceful nature of Islam…

Six New Jersey men were imprisoned in a 2007 conspiracy to attack Fort Dix.

An American and three others allegedly plotted to bomb fuel lines at JFK. They await trial.

Christopher Paul, a U.S. citizen, was arrested in 2008 for conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction against U.S. and European targets. He got 20 years.

Four men were charged in 2009 with plotting to bomb Bronx synagogues. They await trial.

Hosam Maher Husein Smadi, a Jordanian living in Dallas, was charged in 2009 with trying to car-bomb an office tower.

Michael Finton of Illinois was busted in 2009 in a courthouse bomb plot inspired by American Taliban John Walker Lindh.

Bryant Neal Vinas of Long Island was busted in 2009 for allegedly giving Al Qaeda information on the subways and Long Island Rail Road.

Brooklyn-born Betim Kaziu was charged in 2009 with trying to join an Al Qaeda affiliate in hope of killing U.S. troops.

Twelve Americans were indicted in 2009 for allegedly supporting Al Shabaab, a terror group seeking to overthrow the Somali government.

Colleen LaRose, aka Jihad Jane, was charged this year with plotting to kill a Swedish cartoonist who had depicted the Prophet Mohammed.

Sharif Mobley, a 26-year-old New Jersey man, was arrested in March in a roundup of Al Qaeda suspects in Yemen.

Zazi admitted he and pals planned to suicide-bomb Grand Central and Times Square subways….

Hmmm. What do all those people have in common? What, oh, what, could it be?

BBC Traitors assist Muslim terrorists

BBC advises Muslim suicide bombers on optimum bomb placement, size & altitude for detonation

Thanks to an extensive study and actual field tests by the publicly-funded BBC, Muslim terrorists and their bomb makers now know that they haven’t been using enough explosives to bring down a Boeing 747. They also now know where to better place the bomb and what altitude it should be set off at for maximum effect.

No doubt the Muslim homicide bombers and their evil leaders will shout “Praise Allah” after watching the BBC video that explains where they’ve been going wrong.

Read the BBC story Boeing 747 survives simulated ‘Flight 253’ bomb blast and watch the video. Like the terrorists, you’ll learn that “underwear bomber” Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab wouldn’t have brought down Flight 253 on Christmas because even if he managed to set off the bomb, it simply wasn’t large enough or placed close enough to the outside skin of the airliner.

Al-Qaeda is undoubtedly saying “Praise Allah and the BBC for this information that will help us to succeed next time!”

When some BBC viewers questioned whether the experiment was valid given that the test aircraft wasn’t pressurized, the BBC even revised the article and provided additional information on bomb placement for greatest effectiveness and selecting the correct altitude for detonation to cause maximum damage.

PRAISE ALLAH for the assistance from the BBC!

The so-called journalists who wrote the article and organised the bomb test haven’t put their names on their work, but here are the photos and names of the two irresponsible and traitorous bastards who assisted the BBC in providing specific technical information to the Muslim terrorists…

Aiding Muslim terrorists: Dr. John Wyatt (left) & Captain J. Joseph

The BBC says Captain J Joseph is air accident investigator and Dr John Wyatt is an international terrorism and explosives expert who consults for the UN – United Nations. Traitorous bastards, both of them.

This irresponsible and traitorous BBC story and video is reminiscent of two episodes that happened during World War II…

Hedgehog Anti-submarine weapon

During the development of the “hedgehog” anti-submarine bomb, the British inventors didn’t know how much explosive to use. They knew how much it would take to sink a British submarine, but how much would it take to sink a German U-Boat? The problem was the British engineers didn’t know the distance from the deck of a German submarine to the pressure hull. The hedgehog would explode on contact with the deck of the German submarine, but had to have enough power to then rupture the pressure hull that could be between 2 feet and 4 feet under the deck. British sub specifications they knew, but what about the German U-Boats? How to find out?

Easy…. the Brits flipped through a bunch of German newspaper and magazines and found a photo of a German seaman loading torpedoes into a U-Boat. The seaman’s upper body was visible above the deck as he stood on the pressure hull. The Brits estimated his height and the distance of his body not visible and in this way accurately estimated the distance between the outer deck and the pressure hull. This was much less than the Brit subs and the designers were therefore able to use a smaller charge for the Hedgehog and throw it further.

They designed the hedgehog accordingly and it went on to be a major sub-killer – in no small part because the German propaganda photo allowed the Brits to select the proper size of explosive charge.

Congressman Andrew May - Revealed military secrets, killed 800 U.S. sailors

Japanese destroyers fail to set their depth charges deep enough when attacking American submarines

Congressman Andrew May (House Military Affairs Committee) was on a junket to Pearl Harbor and got a briefing on how the US subs were taking the fight to the Japanese and really starting to kick some tail by 1943. He was briefed on the following subjects:

•    That the Japanese destroyers were not following up attacks.
•    That the Japanese were setting their depth charges too shallow.
•    That the Japanese depth charges were not packing enough “wallop” to breach the 1″ steel plating on US subs unless it was a direct hit.

Congressman May then held a press conference when he got home, relating the TOP SECRET information to the radio and newspapers, assuring the mother’s of submariners that their boys were safe. (Sounds like the BBC assuring travelers that they are safe on the 747!)

Of course, Japanese spies ALSO listen to the radio and read the papers, and they reported the issues to their bosses. Corrective action was soon applied, with a super depth charge of 600 lbs of TNT hitting their arsenal. Vice Admiral Charles A. Lockwood, commander of the U.S. submarine fleet in the Pacific, later estimated that May’s revelation cost the navy as many as ten submarines and 800 crewmen.”

I view the BBC’s article and video as no less stupid than Congressman May – to the point of treason.

Every person who worked on the BBC story should be charged with aiding terrorists.

Fort Hood Muslim Terrorist was a known al Qaeda suspect – Why didn’t the US Army act months ago?

“U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.”

…from ABC News Officials: U.S. Aware of Hasan Efforts to Contact al Qaeda

Why didn’t the US Army or Intelligence Agencies do something about Major Nidal Hasan?

Was it political correctness? Fear of making a decision? Whatever it was, it looks like some person or persons made a decision not to take steps to remove Major Hasan from the US Army even after it was known that he was contacting al Qaeda.

This should be a lesson to government authorities, law enforcement and military leadership everywhere in the West: If there are signs that a Muslim employee has gone fundamentalist, ACT to counter the threat!

Michael Yon: Afghanistan will become far more deadly for our troops than even the darkest days in Iraq

When I hit the ground in Afghanistan in 2006, it was flatly obvious that we were losing the war.  The prevailing thoughts in the media and Washington held that we were winning in Afghanistan but Iraq was hopeless.  I was saying nearly the opposite during many dozens of interviews and articles.

And so amid torrents scathing criticism, during 2006, I wrote a series of one dozen dispatches saying in the clearest terms that we were losing the war in Afghanistan.  I have been warning for a long time that this war shows every sign that it will overshadow anything we saw in Iraq when it comes to danger to our troops.

The warnings are over.  Here we are.  There is little doubt that the Afghanistan war, at least on a per capita basis, will become far more deadly for our troops than even the darkest days in Iraq.  People still scoff when I say these things, but they do not see clearly.  This is a “no kidding” war.  Don’t be fooled by the slow buildup.  The dark potential of AfPak is enormous.

Please read today’s dispatch, which I published in the Washington Times (YON: Girl with no future)

And please support this mission.

Why Limit Your Worldview To The Opinions & Presentations Of Big News Media?

FOX News, BBC, CNN and even our own CBC each have their spins and agendas on world events. At Barbados Free Press we believe that people who confine their sources to the major news media are being fed carefully structured information. You can pick up a newspaper in Narita Airport Japan, San Francisco, Glasgow or Bridgetown on the same day and read the same stories, the same quotes and often the exact same words.

That is why blogs, websites, twitter and facebook are flourishing for news and analysis – and that is one of the reasons why people keep coming back to Barbados Free Press. Our readers judge everything with a critical eye and they know that they will find stories at BFP that they won’t see in the oldstream Barbados news media. And as we continually remind our readers, don’t believe us either!

We at BFP and our readers enjoy hearing all sides and then deciding for ourselves.

That curiosity brought us to Michael Yon as one of our sources of information on the wars, and now we are going to share him with you.

Michael Yon is a former U.S. Green Beret soldier who has been reporting from the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Myanmar and the Philippines since 2004. (Oh, you didn’t know that there is a war on in the Philippines? Check it out and then ask yourself why you don’t know that.)

Sometimes he is embedded with troops from many nations, and sometimes he is just walking around in Iraq and Afghanistan by himself. (!) He has warned of the dangers and the realities of Afghanistan and Iraq for five years and often is totally at odds with what you will read in the big news media or hear from government.

Yet battlefield commanders from many nations continue to let Yon embed with the troops – because they know he will tell it like it is.

Dear readers, we give you a man who blogs from the battlefields of the world: Micheal Yon…

Afghanistan War Women

“Iraq is 1,000 years more advanced than Afghanistan. Nepal is far more connected to and cognizant of the outside world.

After nearly eight years of war and billions spent, there is not a single Afghan soldier in this entire province. There is not a meter of paved road. There is a single television station that operates for maybe four hours a night when it has fuel.”

From Michael Yon’s article: The girl with no future

(Barbados Free Press editor’s comment… What a waste of eight years and trillions of dollars. Where is all the money that was supposed to be building new government, security, infrastructure and a free society in Afghanistan?)

If you value Michael’s reporting, you can support him at his website

Dear Reader,

I am back in Afghanistan.   There is progress on many fronts, but in sum, we are still losing the war at an increasing rate.  All is not hopeless, but it’s not looking good. The fighting promises to be far more deadly for our troops here than we ever saw in Iraq. The big media has done an abysmal job of covering the latest fighting. Yes, there are many stories from Afghanistan, but if you look at the bylines, many are filed from places like Kabul.

When you see “Kabul,” think “Saigon” or “Green Zone” with hotels and bars.

I’m heading back to combat and will be right there, up close, in the middle like usual. The risks are severe and expenses such as insurance skyrocket when in combat. I can maintain this pace for long periods, but only if you have my back. Nobody else does. Your support is crucial to this front-line reporting. This site accepts zero advertisement.

If you want hardcore, frontline reporting, stay tuned and please support this mission by making a direct contribution. Without your support, this mission will end. Thank you for helping to bring untold stories from the struggles for Afghanistan, Iraq, the Philippines and elsewhere.

Thank you and God bless.

Michael Yon
