Excellent Barbados photos on Eric’s blog!
“Everyone is very friendly and accommodating to tourists. Importantly, the folks from Barbados I’ve met on this trip are very passionate about their home country and you get this true sense of patriotism, an identity with a land that generations have called home in good times and in bad. As far as safety and security I feel comfortable walking about, taking the bus and enjoying as much as Barbados has to offer. My hope is that other people will want to have some of these experiences for themselves.”

Hey… thank you Eric!
Saw it, had to share.
Part two here! You will always be a Bajan!
Can BFP’s readers help me? Do you have any old photos of the Regent Hotel / Golden Palm Hotel or the Chefette in Holetown?
I went there on holiday in Summer 1996 when I was twelve and I loved it! It’s such a shame to see what happened to it. Unfortunately I only have one photo remaining from my holiday, a picture of the pool.
I would be very grateful if you had any photos that you could share with me, be they holiday snaps of it in it’s prime or photos when it was abandoned.
Editor’s note: Send your photos to email@example.com and we’ll publish them here for all to see, or Martin wants to post his email address in the comments, readers can send their photos directly to him.

I am thinking of collaboration in all its many facets. It is about ‘working with’ but the who and the why remain vague. Shall we experiment over the web and come together to make something none of us can make alone?
The proposal is simple.
On Friday 16 October at 12 noon you take a photo with your phone camera and email it to me.
The photo can be of anything or anyone or yourself.
My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
I will collage the photos into one (hopefully interesting) image that will be posted for all to download.
All it takes is a minute to be part of art-through-web-collaboration.
Looking forward to your pictures from around the globe.
