Nigerian Students accuse Deputy State Governor Amos Utuama of running Barbados Trinidad scam with his alleged mistress Donna St. Hill

 Donna-St-Hill Barbados Nigeria Utuama

Barbadian Donna St. Hill alleged mistress of Nigerian Delta State deputy governor Amos Utuama

We might describe this happening as “The Nigerian Scam”, but the rest of the world is calling it “The Barbados Scam.”

What we know from local and African media is that 90 students from Nigeria’s Delta Youth Training Programme paid for 9 months accommodation in Barbados at the Infinity Beach Hotel. The students’ management team stayed at the hotel in December, and the students approved of their residence after they were shown photos and videos.

When the students arrived in Barbados they were taken to a semi-abandoned dump of a hotel, and found themselves pulling pails of water from the swimming pool to flush the toilets and to bathe.

Now reports are surfacing in Barbados and Trinidad of unpaid bills by the organisers.

Some of the African press are reporting that Barbadian Donna St. Hill and her alleged lover Nigerian Delta State deputy governor Amos Utuama pocketed money. Africans are calling the story “The Barbados Scam”.

Sahara Reporters published an account that held nothing back…

Neglected Delta Youth Trainees In Trinidad And Barbados Cry Out, Accuse Deputy Governor And His Alleged Mistress Of Abuse

“As I’m talking to you now we cannot take our baths because there is no water, some of us had to start fetching water from the pool. Do you know that we almost lost one of us yesterday due to food poisoning as we were told by the doctors? The issue of food is nothing to write home about. I repeat, we have sent a series of messages to the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, to come to our aid, but ‘til date we are yet to get a reply from him,” a student told SaharaReporters.

Though the program advertised itself as one that would train students on agriculture, tourism, hospitality, and culinary arts, students now claim the entire program is a “scam.”

Narrating their predicament from their Trinidad and Barbados training bases, select students accused the state deputy governor, Prof. Amos Utuama, and a lady alleged to be his mistress, a Barbadian identified as Ms. Donna St. Hill, of pocketing program funding.

“Information made available to us reveals that the budget for the program was slashed with the extra funds pocketed by Delta State deputy governor, Prof. Amos Utuama, Ms. Donna St. Hill, and some individuals. This has affected our accommodation and feeding,” a student said.

… from the Sahara Reporters article Neglected Delta Youth Trainees In Trinidad And Barbados Cry Out

May God bless the Nigerian students who came so far to Barbados only to find that their accommodations require that they have to draw water from a swimming pool to bathe and flush toilets.

Soon my first child will be born (Announcement! Announcement!) and after all these years on my own I, Cliverton, have of necessity left a self-centered life and dedicated myself to providing the best start that I can for my little girl or boy. Oh… and looking after mummy too!

How many Nigerian parents sacrificed to send their children to Barbados for a head start? They paid more than they could and they did so merrily that their children would be better off for themselves and their families. They trusted the good name of Barbados to look after their children.

Finally I understand those parents, each and every one.

And when their children came to Barbados, we Bajans put them up in a run-down place where they had to carry buckets of water from the swimming pool to wash themselves in the morning and flush the toilets. Then we fed them slops, yes – slops. Some became quite unwell with food-poisoning, but all were repelled and astonished by the low standard that their parents’ hard-earned and maybe borrowed money had purchased.

This Nigerian debacle is perhaps the most outrageous scam we’ve seen since Cricket World Cup when charter airliners dumped hundreds of trusting passengers and never returned to pick them up.

But this time it is our nation that is the center of attention as the African news media talks about Barbados and Third World in the same breath.

We might describe this happening as “The Nigerian Scam”, but the rest of the world is calling it “The Barbados Scam.”

Be careful in how you judge this Barbados.

This smells of yet another ploy by racist/white supremacists to set up artificial barriers in communication between you and your Afrikan kin-folk.

You must not allow this incident to be a reason preventing you from re-unifying. with your Afrikan family once again.

I smell neo-cointelpro and European interference at the heart of this.

  2. Party Animal

Where in here are the Whites involved ? good thing they have broad shoulders and can take the crap dished out by the Blacks.

It probably is a scam..if money that was supposed to be used for housing at Infinity Hotel, which is a beautiful, newly refurbished Hotel on the most beautiful Dover Beach, South Coast…and then spent at Casa Grande dump. which is easily seen on Trip Advisor reviews to be a disaster, a lot must be in the pockets of those administering the funds.
St Hill, Brathwaite, the Nigerien or all of them.Unfortunately, anything with Nigeria, is synonymous with Scam….look it up!
This is obviously not a racist/white supremacists plot…more like a smart Baje, who lives in South Africa, teaming up with a Nigerian Government official to fleece millions from his oil rich Government.

  4. The Spook Who sat by the door

If you do not understand how the system of racism/white supremacy functions, then everything you think you know will only confuse you.

    @spooooooòk
Racist ass, If you cannot offer anything other than crap, go take one.

  6. The Spook Who sat by the door

You will need to identify specifically what I have said that is racist.

In the two comments that I have made, I have done nothing more than to share my suspicions about what racist man and racist woman are currently doing to mistreat others.

In my experience however, I have found that if you throw a large brick into an assorted group of animals, the one who cries out the hardest is usually the one the rock hits that hardest.

Racist man and racist woman are able to successfully dupe those around them using deceit first and direct violence second. They do not appreciate it much when someone comes along who is able to unravel their deceit and cunning to the rest of the world. A very common tactic that will then be used is for another Racist man/racist woman to turn the table in an attempt to discredit.

Let me be crystal clear. I am in no way accusing any so called “white people” of being racists. I also understand that many so-called “white people” are reluctant or fearful to admit to the fact that racism in the form of white supremacy has played a devastating role on this planet, and so I understand your fear.

To this end, let me reassure you. I/We mean you no harm. If you genuinely seek peace on earth, then you are by default an ally. However, if it is your intent to continue the spread spread disunity, mistrust and hatred upon this world, then your time of rule is at a close. If you are amongst one of those who I am speaking of, then know that human kind is waking up much faster than you have anticipated and you will never catch up, try as you may.

Racism/White Supremacy has been the single deadliest practice unleashed upon this world. Regardless, it will end with, or without your help, whether you agree with my comments or not.

Spook … You clearly stated that this affair is a “. Plot by racist/white supremacists”. BS BS BS BS
Don’t try to unsay what you said in your opening comment.
This affair is a pure and simple Nigerian scam , that involves a Baje . That’s all .

  8. Anonymous

Let’s call a spade a spade, if Afrikan kin-folk do the crime, Afrikan kin-folk should do the time. We so often try to cover up criminal deeds done by blacks by crying racism/white supremacy functions; did the racism/white supremacy took money for these students and put them up in deplorable housing accommodation bringing shame to Barbados and Barbadians? Many of my close friends here in the USA have been scammed by Nigerians one way or another until we know how to shun anything Nigerians are involved in, they are crafty and soon you people would become aware. Should we call this an act of racism/white supremacy? BS as stated by Anonymous.

  9. The Spook Who sat by the door

Yes. I did say that this could be a plot by Racist/White Supremacists.

These groups do exist, and have been historically known to spread disunity amongst those classified as non-white. It is therefore not incorrect to cast suspicion in the most logical direction, especially when one recognizes that once again, there are efforts forming for those historically oppressed groups to unify and bridge the gaps that have been created by the said Racist/White Supremacists.

What I DID NOT say is that this is a plot being carried out by “all white people” so there is no reason why you should feel offended.

Unless you currently classify yourself as a Racist/White Supremacist, there is absolutely no reason why you should feel the need to defend this group.

As I said, I am not suspicious of all white people. I AM suspicious of white people who covertly or overtly align themselves with the aforementioned group, however. Are you one of these individuals?

  10. Anonymous

yes ,I belong to the KKK you a hole.

  11. The Spook Who sat by the door

The KKK is not the only group who practices the system of racism/white supremacy. This group would represent one of many who promotes deceit and/or direct violence against peoples of color OVERTLY. It is because of this that they do not pose as great a threat as those who practice racism/white supremacy COVERTLY.

The ones that we should all be suspicious of are those who, by thought, word or deed, are able to mistreat others, solely because they are not classified as ‘white’. This is at its core, functional racism/white supremacy.

This practice may be accomplished within any social group/organization (including the KKK), or on an individual basis. Regardless, the result is the same; the mistreatment of peoples of not classified as ‘white’.

As it is exceptionally difficult to identify those individuals practicing the covert form of racism/white supremacy, it is advised that one discern each individual’s alignment based on how they say, what they say, and what they do, within discussions about race/racism such as this one.

As you are adamant that what I have said is BS. I must suspect that you are an expert in discerning who is and is not practicing the covert form of racism/white supremacy.

In this case, I eagerly await your assistance. What are some of the actions that a person covertly practicing racism/white supremacy might engage in?

Please identify a few of these things in point form.

    I await your honest response.

Ok Spook..here they are , just 3 as you asked.
1.Putting African Students at Casa Grande Hotel
2.Bringing Students from Africa to Barbados but not having them enrolled at any place of study.
3.Feeding African students bad food, leading to food poisoning.

  13. The Spook Who sat by the door

I am not certain that these three things you mentioned qualify, but this one would:

Racist/White Supremacist agent provocateurs skulking in the background seeking any opportunity to fuel animosity between two neighboring groups who seek a chance at reunification.

Groups/individuals such as this will eagerly promote and highlight negative news events initiated by well-paid and misguided ‘non-white’ agents, as a means of furthering the mistrust between the two or more parties targeted for elimination.

Hence the reason for my initial post; as a warning to Barbadians that it is possible this is what may be occurring.

  14. Anonymous

I told you spook, it was the KKK. Otherwise this story would never have been published in the Nation Newspaper. The whole thing is a racist/white supremacist ploy to keep Black Bajans from reuniting with their African brethren.
You are truly a jackass, not worth reading your crap, bye bye.

  15. The Spook Who sat by the door

I already established that your opinions of my previous comments change nothing. Clearly, the message I am putting out there is simply not meant for you.

In this case there is nothing else here to see, so just move along.

Ultimately, within the context of Racism/White Supremacy, you are either a part of the solution, or you are a part of the problem. Which ever side of th fence you choose to sit on is completely up to you.

    A luta continua!

Agreed Needy, in this case, it is very clear that the original poster of this article is the one instigating the disunity. The title of the article speaks for itself.

The fact that the author has provided absolutely no facts evidencing the truth around his/her allegations suggests that he/she has none.

Now ask yourself… why would a so called journalist do such a thing if not to spread propaganda?

BFP, I am calling you out for what you are; A covert arm of Racism/White Supremacy, pretending to have the best interest of Barbadians.

BFP and company. you are officially on our hit list now and all you cowardly, racist/white supremacy bigots WILL be exposed for who and what you are. Tread lightly from now on.

I must thank you for a job well done. You finally awoken the sleeping giants.

Obviously BFP did not invent this story on Jan 14th,to instigate disunity… merely reporting what was reported in Nigeria 2 days before….those damn racist/white supremacists!

  25. The Spook Who sat by the door

The title of this article is intentionally appeals to the reactionary within the larger unwashed and non-illuminated population. Understand that this article is purposefully designed to evoke within the reader, emotional and irrational thought and/or action that would serve to damage the reputation of the targeted party.

No real investigative journalist with integrity, interested at getting to the core truth, would publish something as inflammatory and discrediting as “…with his alleged mistress” unless their aim was to discredit and tarnish the reputation of the target group without solid facts surrounding the full situation.

This is a textbook tactic used when ‘grasping for dirt’ to associate with the party’s in question as a means to discredit. This is most certainly not an example of true investigative journalism. At best, this article is blatant slander. At worse, it is something far more sinister that goes much deeper. I leave it to the discerning and wise reader to make that determination.

Regardless BPF and company, you have now invited significant unwanted attention and scrutiny. Be advised that we will be keeping very close tabs on you and your ‘colleagues’ from this point onwards.

…wonder what David Oyetokunbo would have to say about this. Spooky.
