    How Independent Are Vaccine Defenders?
    2008-07-25, CBS News

They’re some of the most trusted voices in the defense of vaccine safety: the American Academy of Pediatrics, Every Child By Two, and pediatrician Dr. Paul Offit. But CBS News has found these three have something more in common – strong financial ties to the industry whose products they promote and defend. The vaccine industry gives millions to the Academy of Pediatrics for conferences, grants, medical education classes and even helped build their headquarters. The totals are kept secret, but public documents reveal bits and pieces. A $342,000 payment from Wyeth, maker of the pneumococcal vaccine – which makes $2 billion a year in sales. A $433,000 contribution from Merck, the same year the academy endorsed Merck’s HPV vaccine – which made $1.5 billion a year in sales. (Emphasis added /GM) Every Child By Two, a group that promotes early immunization for all children, admits the group takes money from the vaccine industry, too – but wouldn’t tell us how much. Then there’s Paul Offit, perhaps the most widely-quoted defender of vaccine safety. He’s gone so far as to say babies can tolerate “10,000 vaccines at once.” In fact, he’s a vaccine industry insider. Offit holds in a $1.5 million dollar research chair at Children’s Hospital, funded by Merck. He holds the patent on an anti-diarrhea vaccine he developed with Merck. And future royalties for the vaccine were just sold for $182 million cash.

Have HPV vaccines caused a global epidemic of psychosomatic disorders?

So basically, if it’s not ‘in the book,’ it doesn’t exist except for in the mind?

Another typical example of the callous disregard for the suffering of those who experience adverse events after Gardasil or Cervarix was expressed by Dr. Yutaka Ohno, of Keio University, who has stated publicly:

It is impossible to find physical causes for the alleged and presumed adverse reactions at those vaccinated girls, so we cannot help concluding that their so-called adverse reactions are the mere consequences of psychosomatic reactions. The government should provide counselling to the girls so that they may be freed from their psychosomatic reactions.

This is a prime example of the attitude being exhibited worldwide when it comes to the thousands of families impacted by serious adverse events after HPV vaccine administration. Forget trying to treat their ailments; let’s free them from their psychosis.

Where does this leave those unfortunate families whose children are suffering after HPV vaccinations? It doesn’t matter to them that vaccine injuries are supposed to be rare – Their children are suffering and the world does not seem to care.

Society has failed these families. No one will dispute the fact that vaccine injuries can and do happen. It truly does not matter how rare vaccine injuries are, or are not. What matters is people are suffering needlessly.

The time has come to find out why some people suffer such severe side effects and why.

Top ten REAL medical conspiracies that actually happened

The mainstream media is focused this week on trying to convince you that “medical conspiracy theories” are whacky and untrue. Published by Reuters, USA Today and other mainstream media outlets, a false story based on distorted research is now trying to convince you that there is no such thing as a “medical conspiracy.” No, drug companies never conducted experiments on children, killing many in the process. No, the NIH never took part in criminal medical experiments on prisoners. No, the U.S. government never lied to you, or covered up natural cures, or conspired with Big Pharma. GMOs were created by people who LOVE the ecosystem, too!

That’s the nonsense we’re all supposed to believe, according to the mainstream media.

By invoking the phrase “conspiracy theories,” junk science authors and corporate-sellout journalists try to marginalize the true history of Big Pharma felony crimes, medical experiments on children, factual government collusion with industry and the incredible harm which has been perpetrated on the American people by the medical industrial complex.

In fact, the mainstream media’s coverage of all this is truly Orwellian, as if the Ministry of Truth is trying to rewrite U.S. history to eliminate all the parts where drug companies, the NIH and the U.S. government quite literally murdered prisoners, blacks, babies and soldiers in the name of “scientific medicine.”

For Disciplined Doctors Crime & Misconduct Pay Very Well at Big Pharma

    by Tony Isaacs

Being found guilty of criminal activity or professional misconduct might be expected to curtail opportunities and income for most of us, but such has not been the case with disciplined doctors and Big Pharma. As the ProPublica news agency reported, hundreds of doctors who’ve been sanctioned, fined, suspended and even convicted of crimes have been making big money as drug company speakers, consultants, educators and drug trial overseers.

ProPublica examined payment records of 7 pharmaceutical companies in 30 states and found 292 disciplined doctors who earned a collective $7.1 million in 2009-2010 alone. Accusations against the doctors included serious medical mistakes, sexual misconduct, and excessive use of addictive drugs. Seventy of the doctors had been sanctioned multiple times or by more than one state. Twenty-one of them had three or more strikes against their records.

A previous New York Times investigation in 2007 found that in Minnesota alone at least 103 doctors who had been disciplined or criticized by the state medical board received a total of $1.7 million from drug makers between 1997 to 2005. The median payment over that period was $1,250; the largest was $479,000.

One such doctor was a psychiatrist the Minnesota Medical board accused of having a “reckless, if not willful, disregard” for the welfare of 46 patients, 5 of whom died in his care or shortly afterward. Despite his license being suspended and restricted, drug makers paid the psychiatrist thousands for each clinical trial patient he recruited. One patient who refused recruitment was discharged by the psychiatrist despite being diagnosed as suicidal. Two weeks later the patient committed suicide.

“If I’m sitting in an audience listening to a physician tout a certain drug and I was aware of those disciplinary actions,” said Dr. Humayun J. Chaudhry, chief executive of the Federation of State Medical Boards, “I would have questions about their character and their motivation for talking about that subject.”

Shocker: comparing deaths from medical drugs, vitamins, all US wars

    By Jon Rappoport
    Activist Post

People want to believe medical science gives us, at any given moment, the best of all possible worlds.

And of course, the best of all possible worlds must have its enemies: the quacks who sell unproven snake oil.

So let’s look at some facts.

As I’ve been documenting for years, the medical cartel has been engaged in massive criminal fraud, presenting their drugs as safe and effective across the board—when, in fact, these drugs have been killing and maiming huge numbers of people, like clockwork.

I’ve cited the review, “Is US Health Really the Best in the World?”, by Dr. Barbara Starfied (Journal of the American Medical Association, July 26, 2000), in which Starfield reveals the American medical system kills 225,000 people per year—106,000 as a direct result of pharmaceutical drugs.

I’ve now found another study, published in the same Journal, two years earlier: April 15, 1998; “Incidence of Adverse Drug Reactions in Hospitalized Patients.” It, too, is mind-boggling.

Looks like another case of big pharma playing us for naive suckers when the UK government was apparently conned into paying out £500 million to stockpile and handout useless and ineffective tamiflu medication to sick UK citizens.

Tamiflu: drugs given for swine flu ‘were waste of £500m’

The drug Tamiflu, given to tens of thousands of people during the swine flu pandemic, does nothing to halt the spread of influenza and the Government wasted nearly £500 million stockpiling it, a major study has found.

The review, authored by Oxford University, claims that Roche, the drug’s Swiss manufacturer, gave a “false impression” of its effectiveness and accuses the company of “sloppy science”.

The study found that Tamiflu, which was given to 240,000 people in the UK at a rate of 1,000 a week, has been linked to suicides of children in Japan and suggested that, far from easing flu symptoms, it could actually worsen them.

Former Merck doctor predicts Gardasil will become ‘greatest medical scandal of all time’

A top physician who used to work for drug giant Merck & Co., creator of the Gardasil vaccine for cervical cancer, has made some groundbreaking public admissions about the dangers and ineffectiveness of this controversial jab. During a recent interview with the French magazine Principes de Sante, Dr. Bernard Dalbergue confessed that Gardasil is a worthless vaccine that not only fails to protect against cervical cancer but also puts individuals at risk of paralysis, encephalitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome and a host of other debilitating ailments.

Suggesting that Gardasil will eventually become recognized as “the greatest medical scandal of all time,” Dr. Dalbergue railed against its approval and continued use, claiming that “everyone” involved with it knows that it’s completely worthless. Dr. Dalbergue also brought up another researcher by the name of Dr. Diane Harper who was involved with both Gardasail and Cervarix, the two approved vaccines for the human papillomavirus (HPV). As we we previously reported, Dr. Harper had previously blown the whistle on the dangers and ineffectiveness of these widely pushed vaccines.
