    No.

Those who are religious and believe God says homosexuality is bad should read this article which describes what a God-fearing mother went through when she found out her son was gay:

I for one do not, as you say hate gay people, I have had some really nice gay people as friends, & still do, what I object to, when they want to say (1) they are normal sexually (2) they want to bring up children, which they cannot have (3) want to force the public & the law, & the church to marry them. Jesus, who is God in the flesh is a forgiving, loving & full of kindness, but He has said it is a sin, just as a liar, a thief, a fornicator, an adulterer, so whether we agree with this or not it is a fact..

It is not a sin. It is something that has been around as long as man has existed. Maybe it’s time to realize this and start worrying about the real threats in this world, wars, famines, diseases and of course…intolerance.

The gay and lesbian promoters has done an excellent job in advancing their cause. All those who dare object have been silenced and called homo phobic. One could grant them that what appears unnatural in the eyes of heterosexual; so called straights, is quite natural for most gay and lesbian lovers. Its not a matter of if its sinful; its clearly anti-God’s design of man and woman. Of that there is no doubt.Gays and lesbians are careful not to debate that fact. So the question becomes, why should the subject gain root in the so called ‘human rights’ debate? The answer is because, that’s the weak link used by the promoters of gay marriage. And some church leaders are by their silence provided tacit approval to the cause of gay lifestyles. We should abandon any ideas that gay marriage has anything to do with human rights, its about a minority of individuals determine to force acceptance of an unnatural lifestyle on the majority who hold that the sanctity of marriage is a sacrament ordained by God as between a man and a woman.

    Here is an interesting one.

A lesbian couple advertises on Craigslist for a sperm donor and signs a contract with the donor whereby he gives up all parental rights.

Subsequently the mother applies to the state for benefits for the child and the state sues the sperm donor requiring he repay it for the support it provided for the child.

No licensed medical practitioner involved and law broken.

Also found parents can’t sign away their parental rights, ….. those rights belong to the child.

I think same sex marriage is a legal minefield. I don’t have a problem with consenting adults who choose to live with a same sex partner and chose to formalize the union legally.

I guess a question might be what would happen if the couple were a man and woman and the sperm donor was the biological father of the child?

Pretty sure this must have happened before.

So if you and your souse got lick up in an accident today yo would want me to prohibit your post menopausal mother from bringing up your child which she could not have given birth to.

    Stupsssseee!!!

You know how many people in this world bring up children that they did not give birth to?

    Would you forbid step-parenting too?

@Elihu January 20, 2014 at 5:33 pm “its clearly anti-God’s design of man and woman”

Wait you got some kinda hotline to God?

Jesus who sits/has sat on God’s right hand for all eternity said NOTHING about homosexuality..

If God had a message for us about homosexuality you think that he would not tell his only begotten son to tell us. After all they have spent plenty, plenty time together. An eternity together

And look you now come around and knows the Father’s thoughts better that Jesus does.

    Well, well, well.

What if God/Evolution throw a few homosexuals in there to keep the population down. Were it not for mostly childless homosexuals maybe the world would have 12 billion people now instead of 7+ and then all hell would break loose as we kill one another in our struggle for water, food and fuel.

Maybe we should be thanking the homosexuals.
