Hero pig named Mohammed saves drowning goat: Expect savages to riot and murder in response!

It seems to me most probable that insults to the Prophet Muhammad appear regularly in the modern world. After all, insults against revered figures in the world’s other major religions pop up all the time. As for Islam, a book such as Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses can be published anywhere. A thirteen-minute anti-Islamic video can arrive on YouTube, and my guess is there are others that have and will appear there. In some obscure land, far from the major media, a cartoon is published perhaps with the Prophet in an absurd pose. Why not a simple slur on Facebook? Who can control Facebook? Will a slur found there set off the mobs next time? And what constitutes a slur? These Islamic mobs keep changing their standards. What was a minor lapse of taste yesterday becomes a cause for terrible indignation today.

The metamorphosing angers of Islam have been a feature of the modern world for decades. Possibly the first show of anger was in Tehran with the takeover of the American embassy. But I trace Islamic anger back further, at least to Sirhan B. Sirhan, who assassinated the 1968 presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy, for some fancied transgression. From all I can tell, the angers of Islam are getting worse. Even with the presidency of Barack Obama, the Nobel Laureate, the angers of Islam have worsened. He began his presidency tendering the olive branch of peace to Islam. Now the Islamic world is afire. Mobs are burning our diplomatic installations in places where moderate Islam reigns, for instance, Tunisia. In Libya unspeakable desecrations take place against us. Egypt seems to be out of control, and Egypt is supposedly an ally and recipient of foreign aide.

The rest of world seems to be going forward toward prosperity. Even countries like China, India, and Russia are proceeding into the future. Islam, at least in Arab lands, is going backwards. It is doing something I would have thought preposterous in decades past. It is heading back toward the Middle Ages and embracing that time and earlier times with open arms. I think some day we will recognize it as the season following the vaunted Arab Spring.

  1. PLANTATION DEEDS FROM 1926 UP TODAY A ND SEE MASSIVE FRAUD ,

    WHY EVEN POST THIS SHIT

  2. gosh goat

BFP probably continues to post about Muslim violence because the Muslim world regularly behaves like savages over the most innocuous cartoons and unintended slights. When your highest technology is developing new flavours of camel shit and perfume for 9 year old child brides, people need something to make them proud and unified so they riot and murder because it’s all they have.

I agree with the author of this piece: what, exactly, have Islamic societies achieved? I’ll add: why do Islamic societies regularly behave like wild animals over nothing?

This article – http://www.examiner.com/article/rfk-assassination-sirhan-sirhan-and-brainwashing-conspiracies – states Sirhan Sirhan was a Christian Arab:
Some believe Sirhan Sirhan was practicing hypnotic exercises just days before Robert Kennedy was shot. Notebooks found in his home contained hundreds of bizarre writings such as “RFK must die,” Robert F. Kennedy must be assassinated before 5 June 68” and “RFK must be killed.” Each were reportedly inked by Sirhan during “automatic writing” sessions.

During these sessions, Sirhan is believed to have been digging up programmed instructions to participate in the RFK assassination in such a way he could easily take the fall.

Several conspiracy theorists claim a hypnotized Sirhan Sirhan arrived at the Ambassador Hotel June 4, 1968. According to his brain’s “programmed” protocol, he waited until an operative uttered trigger words, prompting the young Christian Arab to begin firing at Robert Kennedy.

If Islam cannot control their own who terrorize the world then they should understand the backlash that is gaining daily momentum against them…after continued Islamic excesses the world’s attitude will be fully anti-Islam and the innocent should expect to suffer with the guilty. Its the way it is.

This is how the email came to me, word for word.

I like the answer of muslim scholar when he was asked about terrorism and islam, he said who started the first world war ? muslims ?who started the second world war ? muslims ? who killled about 20 million of aborigines in australia ? muslims ? who sent nuclear bombs of hiroshima and nagasaki ? muslims ? who killed more than 100 million indians in north america ? muslims ? who killed more than 50 million indians in south america ? muslims ? who took about 180 million african people as slaves and when 88 percent of tham died threw them into the atlantic ocean ? muslims ? no, they weren,t muslims, frist of all, u have to define terrorism properly ….. if a non – muslim dose somthing bad,,, it is a crime , but if a muslim commits the same, he is a terrorist . so first remove the double standard… then come to the point….. liaqat afridi

It’s wrong to say that Islam gave nothing to the world. Arabic scholars contributed a lot in terms of maths, philosophy and science; I won’t go on but look it up. They are responsible for preserving much of Ancient Greek philosophy etc.
However, the way Islam is today totally sucks. The little that remains to be respected, such as Turkey, is also falling down the drain of fundamentalism.
The way women are treated, the constant war-alert attitude to any slight, who needs it? These guys (and it’s all about MEN) need a good kick up the bum – one of their favourite places – and realise that we are all bored to death with the mental wanking they do. It’s about time we all called stop play on their stupid sharia laws and put the foot down.
If you want to live in your little sharia world do go back to a place where it’s all good, your own way. Otherwise, bugger off.

Britain will soon be Sharia land. By the force of mere breeding they will soon outnumber the young white population and the place will be renamed ‘Endistan’. These wankers will not be buggering off anywhere. If Mohammed can’t go to the desert he would send the desert to Britain.
So watch out mate, your once green and pleasant land will soon be little Pakistan in Afghanistan

I guess the earlier show of anger by the US and British governments’ launch of a successful conspiracy to overthrow Iran’s democratically elected Prime Minister, Mohammed Mossadegh can be safely ignored and disregarded. Mossadegh was threatening the substantial and excessive profits enjoyed by the British owned Anglo Iranian Oil Company (the forerunner of British Petroleum) which also maintained a vice like grip on Iran’s entire oil industry.

The puppet dictator, i.e. the Shah of Iran, installed by the US and British as Mossadegh’s replacement was notorious for running a viciously cruel and sadistic secret police force, the SAVAK, trained in interrogation and torture techniques by Israeli and CIA “consultants”. However, that is nor worth making a fuss over as by definition any of these types of actions undertaken by the US or Britain are always for the overall benefit of mankind.

A ‘great venture’: overthrowing the government of Iran

This is a slightly abridged version of part of chapter four of Mark Curtis’s book The Ambiguities of Power: British Foreign Policy since 1945 (Zed Press, 1995).

In August 1953 a coup overthrew Iran’s nationalist government of Mohammed Musaddiq and installed the Shah in power. The Shah subsequently used widespread repression and torture in a dictatorship that lasted until the 1979 Islamic revolution. The 1953 coup is conventionally regarded primarily as a CIA operation, yet the planning record reveals not only that Britain was the prime mover in the initial project to overthrow the government but also that British resources contributed significantly to the eventual success of the operation. Two first-hand accounts of the Anglo-American sponsorship of the coup – by the MI6 and CIA officers primarily responsible for it – are useful in reconstructing events. (1) Many of the secret planning documents that reveal the British role have been removed from public access and some of them remain closed until the next century – for reasons of ‘national security’. Nevertheless, a fairly clear picture still emerges. Churchill later told the CIA officer responsible for the operation that he ‘would have loved nothing better than to have served under your command in this great venture’. (2)

In the 1950s the Anglo Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) – later renamed British Petroleum – which was managed from London and owned by the British government and British private citizens, controlled Iran’s main source of income: oil. According to one British official, the AIOC ‘has become in effect an imperium in imperio in Persia’. Iranian nationalists objected to the fact that the AIOC not only made revenues from Iranian oil ‘greatly in excess of the revenues of the Persian government but [it] dominates the whole economic life of Persia, and therefore impairs her independence’. (3) The AIOC was recognised as ‘a great foreign organisation controlling Persia’s economic life and destiny’. The British oil business fared well from this state of affairs; the AIOC made £170 million in profits in 1950 alone. (4)

    snip

According to then CIA officer Richard Cottam, ‘that mob that came into north Tehran and was decisive in the overthrow was a mercenary mob. It had no ideology. That mob was paid for by American dollars.’ (59) One key aspect of the plot was to portray the demonstrating mobs as supporters of the Communist Party – Tudeh – in order to provide a suitable pretext for the coup and the assumption of control by the Shah. Cottam observes that agents working on behalf of the British ‘saw the opportunity and sent the people we had under our control into the streets to act as if they were Tudeh. They were more than just provocateurs, they were shock troops, who acted as if they were Tudeh people throwing rocks at mosques and priests’. (60) ‘The purpose’, Brian Lapping explains, ‘was to frighten the majority of Iranians into believing that a victory for Mussadeq would be a victory for the Tudeh, the Soviet Union and irreligion’. (61)

    Dear BFP folks,

It’s plain that I’ve often found your deep-seated prejudice against Muslims to be an ill-thought-out stupidity that is beneath your otherwise clearly gifted minds. Several of my posts on your blog will attest to this.

That said … borrowing the always-amusing prose style of a popular Barbados blog that isn’t yours: interesting to Note in the Onion today that the Onion which are interesting to note in the globalization context of the ZR van culture which are having lesbians in the subculture Jamaican dancehall where is we going as a country ZR, er immigrants …

The Other Blog published this today: http://bajan.wordpress.com/2012/09/22/in-the-defence-of-the-honourable-prophet-hazrat-mohammad-pbuh/comment-page-2/#comment-546264.

Get it soon, because the Other Blog has a tawdry history of taking down posts whenever one of its not-too-bright commenters oversteps the line a bit on, say, human trafficking, genocide or rape.

    All best wishes,

PS. There’s some good stuff there about “de Joos!!!”, too.

  12. Piss be upon him!

Barbados Free Press is definitely prejudiced against a religion/political system/legal system that denigrates and oppresses women by reducing 50% of the population to property.

How DARE BFP mention that Islam values women a 1/4 the worth of men as witnesses in legal proceedings!

How DARE BFP mention that Islam authorizes husbands to beat their wives into submission!

How DARE BFP mention that Islam instructs adherents to kill those leaving the religion and requires non-muslims to pay a tax.

SHAME SHAME on BFP for mentioning that Muslims regularly riot, rape and murder as a result of cartoons and other slights real and imagined!

SHAME SHAME on BFP for mentioning that Islam has bloody borders throughout the world!

    Damn BFP anyways!

How dare you speak in such an abject state of ignorance! Silence your ignorant mouth that utters not only falsehood, but ignorant propaganda falsehood! May the fingers fall off and turn to putrid dust of the person who wrote any ill remark or spoke any ill remark about the Best of All Creation – Muhammad, the Holy Last Messenger of Almighty God! If you can read more than the tabloids – pick up a history book (that doesnt congratulate the Europeans as being the best, smartest and most superior humans of all mankind). In case you cannot find one, I will post an excerpt from a book that will definitely add some true knowledge to your intelligence-absent, faith-depleted mind. Wait ye – we too are waiting! And in the end do all things go before The Almighty Creator (Allah in Arabic) for judgement! Do you really believe that The Almighty Creator will allow you to insult and demean His religion and its foremost Holy Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him ) with no consequences? REALLY? If I lived on a tiny little island in the middle of a colossal ocean, I think I ‘d be careful about offending Almighty God…but then, the people of Pompeii acted just like you people. Are there any volcanoes in Barbados? Wait ye – we too are waiting…

    SUPREMELY SUCCESSFUL
“My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels.”

The 100 – A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History, New York 1978, Page 33 – Michael H. Hart.
MOST INFLUENTIAL SINGLE FIGURE IN HUMAN HISTORY

“We see, then, that the Arab conquests of the seventh century have continued to play an important role in human history, down to the present day.”

“It is this unparalleled combination of secular and religious influence which I feel entitles Muhammad to be considered the most influential single figure in human history.”

The 100 – A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History, New York 1978, Page 40 – Michael H. Hart.
ENORMOUSLY INFLUENTIAL RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR LEADER

“Furthermore, Muhammad (unlike Jesus) was a secular as well as a religious leader. In fact, as the driving force behind the Arab conquests, he may well rank as the most influential political leader of all tune.

“Of many important historical events, one might say that they were inevitable and would have occurred even without the particular political leader who guided them. For example, the South American colonies would probably have won their independence from Spain even if Simon Bolivar had never lived. But this cannot be said of the Arab conquests. Nothing similar had occurred before Muhammad, and there is no reason to believe that the conquests would have been achieved without him.”

The 100 – A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History, New York 1978, Pages 39-40 – Michael H. Hart.
    PROFOUNDLY PRACTICAL

“In all things Muhammad was profoundly practical. When his beloved son Ibrahim died, an eclipse occurred, and rumours of God’s personal condolence quickly arose. Whereupon Muhammad is said to have announced, ‘An eclipse is a phenomenon of nature. It is foolish to attribute such things to the death or birth of a human being.’ ”

Islam: The Misunderstood Religion, The Reader’s Digest (American Edition), May 1955, Page 70 – James A. Michener.
    GREATEST INFLUENCE UPON HUMAN RACE

“Four years after the death of Justinian, A.C. 569, was born at Mecca, in Arabia, the man who, of all men, has exercised the greatest influence upon the human race.”

“Mohammad possessed that combination of qualities which more than once has decided the fate of empires.”

A History Of The Intellectual Development Of Europe, London 1875, Volume 1, Pages 329-330 – John William Draper (M.D., LL.D.).

    EXEMPLARY CHARACTER
“His deportment, in general, was calm and equable.”

“He is said to have possessed a smile of captivating sweetness. His complexion was more ruddy than is usual with Arabs, and in his excited and enthusiastic moments there was a glow and radiance in his countenance.”

“His military triumphs awakened no pride nor vain glory, as they would have done had they been effected for selfish purposes. In the time of his greatest power he maintained the same simplicity of manners and appearance as in the days of his adversity.”

“If he aimed at universal dominion, it was the dominion of the faith; as to the temporal rule which grew up in his hands, as he used it without ostentation, so he took no step to perpetuate it in his family.”

Mahomet And His Successors, London 1909, Pages 192-193 and Page 199 – Washington Irving.
    CONQUEST OF MAKKAH

“The day of Mohammad’s greatest triumph over his enemies was also the day of-his grandest victory over himself. He freely forgave the Koraysh all the years of sorrow and cruel scorn in which they had afflicted him and gave an amnesty to the whole population of Mekka. Four criminals whom justice condemned made up Mohammad’s proscription list when he entered as a conqueror to the city of his bitterest enemies. The army followed his example, and entered quietly and peacefully; no house was robbed, no women insulted. One thing alone suffered destruction. Going to the Kaaba, Mohammad stood before each of the three hundred and sixty idols, and pointed to it with his staff, saving, ‘Truth is come and falsehood is fled away’ and at these words his attendants hewed them down, and all idols and household gods of Mekka and round about were destroyed. It was thus Mohammad entered again his native city. Through all the annals of conquest there is no triumphant entry comparable to this one.”

The Speeches And Table-Talk Of The Prophet Mohammad, London 1882, Pages 46-47 – Stanley Lane Poole.
    A VERITABLE HERO

“No emperor with his tiaras was obeyed as this man in a cloak of his own clouting. During three-and-twenty years of actual trial, I find something of a veritable hero necessary for that myself.”

On Heroes, Hero-Worship And The Heroic In History, London 1888, Page 61 – Thomas Carlyle.
    GREATEST LEADER OF ALL TIMES

    Leaders must fulfil three functions:

    1. Provide for the well-being of the led;
    2. Provide a social organisation in which people feel relatively secure; and
    3. Provide them with one set of beliefs.

“People like Pasteur and Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi and Confucious, on one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Mohammed, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same.”

Time (The Weekly Newsmagazine), Article: “Who Were History’s Great Leaders?”, New York U.S.A. 15 July 1974, Page 32 at 33 – Jules Masserman.
    FOLLOWING IN HIS FOOTSTEPS

“Serious or trivial, his daily behaviour has instituted a canon which millions observe at this day with conscious memory. No one regarded by any section of the human race as Perfect Man has been imitated so minutely. The conduct of the Founder of Christianity has not so governed the ordinary life of his followers. Moreover, no founder of a religion has been left on so solitary an eminence as the Muslim Apostle. [Muhammad]

    A History Of Arabia, Oxford 1922, Page 52 – D.G. Hogarth.
    MOST SUCCESSFUL

“Mohammad is the most successful of all Prophets and religious personalities.”

Encyclopaedia Brittannica, 11th Edition, Article: ‘Koran’.
    RULED BY DIVINE RIGHT

“Head of the State as well as of the Church, he was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without Pope’s pretensions, Caesar without the legions of Caesar.”

“Without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue, if ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by the right divine, it was Mohammad, for he had all the power without its instruments and without its support.”

Mohammad And Mohammadanism, London 1874, Page 92 – Reverend Bosworth Smith.
    SPECTACULAR SUCCESS

“The spectacular success of Muhammad in unifying the tribes of Arabia under the worship of the one God, Allah, … can hardly fail to excite both wonder and admiration. The dire poverty which he endured so courageously in Medina is well-known. His dwelling was a hut with a minimum of furniture.”

“He was calm in danger, and in the cave of Thaur assured Abu Bakr that God was with them. He showed a Spartan endurance of utter poverty, which he shared with his converts in Medina. By abolishing alcohol and prostitution he made an undoubted reformation in the life of Arabia.”

    Yorkshire Post, 8 June 1935 – Reverend. R. Macgregor.
    CURE TO CHRONIC EVILS

“By thus absolutely prohibiting gambling and intoxicating liquors, Muhammad did much to abolish once and for all, over the vast regions that own his sway, two of the vast and most irremediable evils of European society; evils to the intensity of which Christian governments of the nineteenth century are hardly yet beginning to awake.”

Mohammad And Mohammadanism, London 1874 – Reverend Bosworth Smith.
IS THERE ANY MAN GREATER THAN HE?

“Never has a man set for himself, voluntarily or involuntarily, a more sublime aim, since this aim was superhuman: to subvert superstitions which had been interposed between man and his Creator, to render God unto man and man unto God; to restore the rational and sacred idea of divinity amidst the chaos of the material and disfigured gods of idolatry, then existing. Never has a man undertaken a work so far beyond human power with so feeble means, for he (Muhammad) had in the conception as well as in the execution of such a great design no other instrument than himself, and no other aid, except a handful of men living in a corner of the desert. Finally, never has a man accomplished such a huge and lasting revolution in the world, because in less than two centuries after its appearance, Islam, in faith and in arms, reigned over the whole of Arabia, and conquered, in God’s name, Persia, Khorasan, Transoxania, Western India, Syria, Egypt Abyssinia, all the known continent of Northern Africa, numerous islands of the Mediterranean, Spain, and a part of Gaul.”

“If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad?”

“Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational doctrines, of a religion without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?”

    @ R. Miller

Mao, Stalin and Hitler were men of great societal influence too. Evil, but of great societal influence.

Mao, Stalin and Hitler also shared Mohammed’s sexual love of children – young girls as any detailed reading of the available biographies will confirm.

I’d say that overall, Mohammed was very influential in history, but that his influence has been evil.

Clearly, Pat Condell is truly hurt and highly offended by the Muslims, else he wouldn’t have taken his “civil” time and great effort to give his opinion. (like noses everyone has one) However, I was bemused by his lack of knowledge of his very own “civilized” history, not to mention Islamic History. Its like the learned scholar mentioned. Who was responsible for all the killings in the past? Muslims? And even the present? Muslims?
You know what? I laughed out loud!
    Why?
Because the Muslims got him riled up anyways!!
