Henderson Bovell loses memory, maybe his entire mind…

Apparently Mr. Bovell has entirely forgotten about the Owen Arthur government’s 14 years of non-stop corruption. Where to start? It was so bad that, not content with merely stealing public funds, the Prime Minister deposited campaign donations into his personal bank account!

Not that the DLP is any better, but to hear Henderson Bovell say that electing the BLP is the answer: well, mongoose meet chicken coop!

Bovell lost me with his slavish devotion to the BLP and his “my party right or wrong!” attitude on everything. I bet he can’t eat dinner except he thank the Lord for Owen Arthur first!

I am not caught up with the D’s vs B’s nonsense but I prefer to let common sense be my dictator. DLP IS downgraded to JUNK!!! Junk Mentality! Did I hurt somebodies feelings? Well here is a shot of vodka and a slap across your head. Wake up! Reality check.

Don’t you dare blame our current predicament solely on a “global recession” or on the previous administration? I see a party without creativity, innovation and thoughtfulness for ALL Barbadians. Two wrongs don’t make it right. Anyone who would stand in front of grown people and try to paint the DLP like saints or saviors is full of BS. I like to keep it real.

Corruption will always exists, sadly, but one should never let your house starve. Taxing the hell out of your people at every turn, then stifling middle-income earners (the backbone or cogwheels of any society) on top of that by removing allowance, then later increasing VAT and increases here and there, is the most nonsensical and obscene endeavor any government can execute in times like these. At least Owen had something right. Talk all you will but we ALL were eating. A half decent salary allowed you to still enjoy a little of what life had to offer in Barbados; Even if that was having a little gas in the tank to go for a humble picnic in the country every other weekend with your family.

DLP is full of some of the most outwardly pig-headed, arrogant and selfish KNOW IT ALLs. The few in there that I actually think are sincere can only do so much with the scraps given them by the big bulldogs.

This isn’t about who is your drink buddy or whom you went to school with and all that rubbish. This is serious business. Government and the people need to work together and take great note of what is happening around us locally and internationally. Self Preservation! That is what we need. We need to start correcting the wrongs. Together!!!

Improved Healthcare: It’s 2012 for goodness sake

Agriculture with a difference: Too much negativity surrounds local
FOOD production. Pay real consultants to teach our struggling farmers modern agriculture. We’ve hired consultants for trivial things, right? For goodness sake take the vandalism and thief of crops more seriously. It takes hard work and many resources to grow food.

Clean energy: Stop complaining and just bloody it. Too much, can’t this and can’t that. YES WE CAN. A journey of a thousand miles begins with… yadda yadda yadda. There are cities in some parts of the world larger than Barbados and runs off the energy produced by wind turbines. Stop messing around with our children’s future. We need a government with BRAINS AND BALLS… Big Big Balls!!!

Entrepreneurship: sigh…. Where can I even start? I think most know how much of a joke this is. The country that kills your enthusiasm and creativity with a huge reel of red tape and many closed doors. We weren’t all born with a silver spoon or have affluent friends and families. Some of us have to be at the mercy of the lending institutions and their rigid lending regimes.

Time for Change. A change in mindset!

Given, it is evident that I am very frustrated. Lots or ranting above. I know. My true frustration is that we are spending so much time pointing the finger and very little effort coming together and SOLVING real and serious issues. Call a spade a spade regardless of your party affiliation. Wrong is wrong and always will be wrong. Why can’t the D’s and the B’s work together since all of our futures are in peril? This is too serious for word wars and childish antics.

Barbados is broke and broken, this is common knowledge. Henderson though makes a BAD TURN stating that “the DLP done everything humanly possible to get Barbados downgraded from being the #1 developing country in the world to JUNK. His blog says that. Agree Henderson Bovell loses memory maybe his entire mind. Barbados was NEVER a #1 developing country and NEVER the #1 developing country in the world. He, Henderson like his God Owen Arthur must have hit upon a drinking binge and was drunk when writing and posting that blog Barbados Under Seige and Being Held Hostage by the DLP.

Also, The BLP government before the 2008 general election won by David Thompson and the DLP was falling off the cliff and not financially sound. Three S&P downgrades proves this.

“Barbados was NEVER a #1 developing country and NEVER the #1 developing country in the world”

You either do not know what you are writing about or a blatant blasted liar.
Barbados up to 1992 was classified as the No.1 developing country and at No.20 on the UNDP Human Development Index just after Luxembourg at no. 19 and Israel at no 18.

Go check your facts before criticizing Henderson Bovell. Your concern should be why Barbados has slipped from No. 20 to No. 47.

The United Nations says there are lots of theft in Barbados. That stated by the United Nations is closer to the truth than the 2011 Transparency International CPI Report concerning Barbados. According to the 2011 Transparency International CPI Report 80% of humans live under corrupt government. Interesting Barbados on that report scores rather well. The 2011 transparency international report apparently did not investigate and or have knowledge of the BLP government (1994-2008). The 2011 Transparency CPI Report apparently did not consider FACT that Kensington oval, was built on land that belongs to Violet Beckles not the Barbados government. The controversial complex at Warrens was also built on property not owned by the government. So, Arthur and the BLP engaged in land theft.

Wait! No wait! There’s more BLP theft, The BLP around August 2007 created a look-alike version of the Barbados Free Press site and used their logo. The BLP attempted to confuse the public and to draw traffic from the genuine Barbados Free Press posts. In doing this, they, the BLP entered into plagiarism and copyright theft. . . Mind blowing. That’s mind blowing but character of the BLP. The Barbados Labor Party prompted a website that involved arson, rape and murder of a political opponent of the government. Arthur refused to acknowledge a letter from the victim of death threats and the police would not investigate because some of the death threats were forwarded from a computer used by a BLP member. . . Mind blowing. That’s mind blowing but character of the BLP.

The Codringer family of five (all dead) suffered at the hands of someone’s greed and incompetence. Their home at Arch Cot Britton Hill you know collapsed in a cape beneath it. No building on that land should have been allowed because it was caved. Dale Marshall, a BLP member and attorney general at that time blamed no one, “it could have happened to anyone” he said. That property was linked to the Mottley family involving Mia Mottley and the incident occurred under the BLP government with Owen Arthur at the helm. Mind blowing. That’s mind blowing but character of the BLP

The S&P on July 17th downgraded Barbados to junk bond status. This was MAJOR NEWS due to Arthur and the BLP. Immediately after announcement of the S&P downgrade Arthur went about ranting and raving CALL ELECTION!!! “let us get this behind us [the election] and let all the fundamental decisions that must be made about the countries future be made in a period of calm and seriousness rather than in a period of electorial frenzy”. Arthur seems to think that Barbados needs him only him to survive in light of fact, he’s a drunk, inept and corrupt. Arthur, during a budget debate could not remember that he actually chaired the meetings of Cabinet discussing the VECO matter. He said he wished he was there. But when told by both Minister Sinckler and the Prime Minister – ‘no Owen, you were there,’ he then said that he said something else. When pressed again, he again said something completely different and also said that he never said what he said on the two previous occasions the entire country heard him say it. Owen had apparently had hit upon a drinking binge. The S&P during a better economic climate had downgraded Barbados three times before 2008. The BLP before 2008 was not financially sound. Three S&P downgrades proves this and refutes said statement noted by Henderson Bovell that the DLP done everything humanly possible to get Barbados downgraded from being the #1 developing country in the world to JUNK.

As previously stated, Barbados was never the #1 developing country in the world. Said statement is nowhere found in print. Henderson Bovell is a blatant blasted liar and did not know what he was writing about. As previously stated, he (Hendson Bovell) like his God Owen Arthur must have hit upon a drinking binge and was drunk when writing and posting that blog, Barbados Under Seige and Being Held Hostage by the DLP. Henderson though is a colossal BLP supporter and attacks the DLP the same as its BLP foe.

Below is an extract of the UNDP 1992 report on human development.

    Human development index All countries

    High human development:
    1 Canada
    2 Japan
    3 Norway
    4 Switzerland
    5 Sweden
    6 USA
    7 Australia
    8 France
    9 Netherlands
    10 United Kingdom
    11 Iceland
    12 Germany
    13 Denmark
    14 Finland
    15 Austria
    16 Belgium
    17 New Zealand
    18 Israel
    19 Luxembourg
    20 Barbados

Are the figures above compiled by the UNDP a tissue of lies engineered by the BLP & Henderson Bovell?

Look, Fool, the other countries ahead of Barbados are considered and categorized as “developed” or First World countries. It follows therefore that Barbados being at No. 20 in the World would be classified as the No 1. “developing” country on the Human Development Index. Which country ahead of Barbados in this 1992 index would be considered “developing” at the time; Germany or UK or Sweden?
Go to the ants thou sluggard considered their ways and be wise.

Okay idot, according to your data Barbados was developing rather well up until 1992. What happended between the years (1994 – 2008) and why three S&P downgrades. Three S&P downgrades came down on Barbados BEFORE the 2008 general election won by David Thompson and the DLP. Explain, if you can?

    @ LOOK October 10, 2012 at 7:37 pm

Not my data, Asshole, but the UNDP data. Check it for yourself.

Since you have implicitly accepted the figures let us now discuss the reasons for that drop from position 20 in 1992 to 47 2011 in a period when the country witnessed the highest amount of graduates and professionals emerging in Barbados- from lawyers, doctors, engineers and accountants to people with more PhD’s per square kilometre than anywhere else in the world except Nigeria where nearly everyone has a fraudulently obtained PhD or some professional qualification.
Maybe the rot started from 1991 since the statistics reported in the 1992 report was for the year 1990. Remember the 1991/92 IMF experience? Déjà vu all over again

You dumb dumb implicitly accepted FACTS concerning Arthur and the BLP accumulating inept, lies, corruption and theft (1994 – 2008). There were three S&P dowgrades. Three S&P downgrades came down on Barbados before the 2008 general election won by David Thompson and the DLP. Remember. Do you remember this? These too, the Nigerian Water Heater Project and the Arch Cot, Britton Hill Death. Remember. Do you remember? Ohhhhh let us not forget Violet Beckles and VECO. The property on which Kensington Oval is built rightfully belongs to Violet Beckles. That woman Violet Beckles has produced lands deeds proving that is her property.

VECO (millertheanunnaki/writer) is yet another BLP embarrassment. Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley and Dale Marshall gave the VECO Corporation (Alaska) a government contract WITHOUT TENDER. VECO built the prison at Dodds in St. Philip and VECO had no record of building prisons. What was the OVER BUDGETED AMOUNT? Do you remember? Who is accountable for it, the over-budgeted figure amount? Seems to me Arthur and the BLP is responsible for a lot of mess-ups, want to publically advertise any and all errors linked to the DLP but hide and or over look their own, NOT WORKING.

“You dumb dumb implicitly accepted FACTS concerning Arthur and the BLP accumulating inept, lies, corruption and theft (1994 – 2008)”

In 2008, Barbados ranked at No.31. In 2011 that position moved to No. 47. Won’t be surprised if 60 is the new number for 2012.
Just remember this movement took place under the DLP. (2008-2012 RIP)

You, you are an idiot because you dumb dumb harp on UNDP data but you yourself attest to decline during the years of the BLP, cannot deny FACT that Barbados before 2008 was not financially sound. Three S&P downgrades proves this, cannot deny FACT that the BLP involved itself in money laundering, land theft, copyright theft, etc.

  19. TOTAL TRUTHFULNESS

millertheanunnaki (BLP Supporter) with dog bone Henderson Bovell (BLP Supporter) hopefully has returned to his dog house. Look, it seems put out for him a lot of dog food:
    1. Violet Beckles/Land Theft (Kensington Oval)
    2. Contractor Al Barrack/Complex at Warrens (St. Michael)
    3. Veco Corporation (Dodds Prison/St. Philip)
    4. Nigerian Water Heater Project
    5. Three (3) S&P downgrades occurred BEFORE 2008
    6. The Codringer Family Deaths/Arch Cot, Britton Hill
    7. 75,000 campaign cheque
    8. Copyright Theft/Barbados Free Press
    9. BLP Involvement/Violence/Letters of Threat

Fourteen years of Arthur and the BLP, it’s really very ugly. None of the above is delightful but they the BLP can throw stones at the DLP. They (BLP Members & Supporters) have apparently lost memory, maybe their entire minds. . . Also, the character of Arthur BEFORE and since 2008 is not polished brass.

  20. LOOK

They, all BLP members could and should sit at dinner table, pass it all around, their own non-tasting food:

    1. Land theft (Kensington Oval & Complex at Warrens in St. Michael)
    2. Land theft (Home Site of BLP member Gline Clark)
    3. Contractor Al Barrack mega mess
    4. VECO Corporation mess
    5. The Dodds Prison Overbudgeted mess
    6. Nigerian Water Heater Project, 2.4 million dollar loss
    7. Three (3) S&P downgrades
    8. Arch Cot, Britton Hill Deaths linked to Mia Mottley
    9. 75,000 campaign cheque involving Arthur & Personal Banking Acct
    10. Copyright Theft involving the Barbados Free Press
    11. BLP involvement/Violence and Letters of Threat

Soooooooo millertheanunnaki (writer) did you run away and are now hiding? Hope so! Hey, TOTAL TRUTHFULNESS, you’re right on the spot. Fourteen years of Arthur and the BLP is really very ugly and believe it or not, Henderson Bovell not long ago was actually a DLP member.

  21. LOOK

    millertheanunnaki October 10, 2012 @5:47pm

Lawyers, Judges, politicians, etc. in the United States are persecuted and convicted. Barbados though is rather far behind. It is a developing country but still THIRD WORLD. This Miller is fact and truth.

IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE IN BARBADOS. Corrupt lawyers, judges, politicians and government workers are not prosecuted and or convicted. Otherwise, all would be residents of Dodds in St. Philip: Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley, Dale Marshall, Gine clark, Leroy Parris, etc.

  22. LOOK

Violet Beckles/heirs owns the land, almost all of Barbados. They, Violet Beckles/heirs are victims of MASSIVE LAND THEFT. The BLP government took from Violet Beckles/heirs proving they are corrupt; they took posession of the land belonging to Violet Beckles/heirs though they Violet Beckles/heirs had/has land deeds and a will. This is really rather embarrassing.

Owen Arthur via the December 2007 You Tube Video declares he’s an honest man. His attempt does not mention the 75,000 campaign cheque linked to his personal banking account. This is embarrassing, really it is.
Veco is another BLP mess mountain and rather embarrasing. Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley and Dale Marshall gave the VECO Corporation (Alaska) a government contract without tender. VECO built the prison at Dodds in St. Philip but had no record of building prisons and the prison project low and behold extended millions over budget.

That man, Owen Arthur is a public drunk and embarrassing. Either he was drunk, a suffer of Alzheimer’s disease, forgot taking his medication and or both.

Both the BLP and DLP are tained with mountains of mess. The BLP mess mountains though are more immense and overly embarrassing. Bajans did not deserve David Thompson and don’t deserve Owen Arthur. Let that dog lie dead, Owen Arthur.

Hope Henderson Bovell and the BLP same reads this blog and responses.
