A friend at the Sanitation Service Authority assures us that when those responsible don’t bother to change the oil, but just mark the chart ‘done’, and those in management don’t bother to verify the check marks…
… engines and transmissions destroy themselves far earlier than expected and budgeted for.
And then… this happens.

de pokey does be dry
Look at the terrible destruction caused by no maintenance. These trucks were new a year ago! Out of 60 we have fewer than 18 operating on any given day. Disgusting.
Maintenance, foreign word in Barbados.
They should fire the supervisor of maintenence but he is somebodyy brother in law so no go!
We have always had a problem with mainteance. And I really do not think that it has anything to do with the ability of those who represent our skilled labour force. I think the problem is that no one gives a SHIT. Moneys go unaccounted no one gives a SHIT but the auditor general and for all of his reporting no one gives SHIT because nothing comes out of it. So you buy new buses and the only time you are going to provide some maintenace is when they break down. The same must be for the SSA because they got more trucks parked then they have on the road..What is happening there..NO ONE GIVES A SHIT. SO WHAT MUST BE DONE WE NEED TO GET ROLLS OF TOILET PAPER AND WIPE UP THE MESS CREATED BY THOSE WHO ARE CREATING THE SHIT..Because for us to continue operating the way we do in a very tourism dependent economy the SHIT THAT REPRESENT THE SHITES MANAGING SYSTEMS IN THIS COUNTRY must be flused down the toilet to mingle with all the other shites that already there in the shit.
