BFP, this clip was circa Deadvid’s wife’s decision to run as the representative for St John some time ago, correct? Do “try” to be more current and leave the archives alone…

  2. Fly pun de wall

I can state for a fact that night Owen had so many snaps, you could literally smell him before you saw him! The man was sweating odors which would make a distillery drunk! This was St John 2010 out where the parking was on sloping rocky land there were not much Bees there either as the rains fell

  3. just want to know

fly pun de wall, did you know he is a diabetic just like your present P. M.? at least he doesn’t pass out whenever he has a few.

  4. Insularity is not pretty!

So much for our delusion of a “One Caribbean”!

LOL we are too busy playing My Tribe vs. Your Tribe
and having a good time with that
    for any Caricom solidarity foolishness.

    One Caribbean MY FOOT!

  5. 5

He is in a good position to comment he’s was also married to a foreigner.

  6. Diabetic?

These politicians are somewhat non compliant diabetics.
maybe the two diabetics leaders should take up running in the morning to improve their health and inspire the youth vote not to mention, lay off their excessive luncheons and rum.

  7. Goin' wid Owen!

This video is one and a half years old but it is the same Owen Arthur we’ve come to love for the past 20 years. Has anyone ever seen him completely sober? He always has a smash into him doesn’t matter 10am it’s on his breath. Use to say in his office you have to get to him before noon to do anything because after lunch don’t bother.

This one isn’t so bad. Some of the other ones he slurs so bad I’m sure Owen himself couldn’t make out what he said if he watch the videotape the next day!

    I Goin’ wid Owen!

    TO THE RUM SHACK! 🙂

  8. Scrupie

You mean to say that a man half sober managed this country so well. BRAVO Owen you are worth your salt. But look now all sober DEMS in and government’s productivity is poor.

ARTHUR any day is the anthem.
    SAVE Barbados please.

  9. LOOK

Arthur may return to office following the next general election (2013). A dog returns to his vomit, so the fool [Arthur] [a drunk] returns to his folly (Old Testament/Proverbs 26:11). Let that dog lie dead, Owen Arthur.

  10. LOOK

Give him a bottle to keep him in retirement

  11. Jack Bowman

    Not funny.

  12. Not goin with Owing

My family circle my workmates my friends are not keen on Owen Arthur returning to power the guy’s time has passed a rocking chair with a side holder for a flask of white is more Arthur than reading breifing documents. Pray tell what is Owen, Glyne, M. Mary, Toppin, Cynthia, Gail, Pain bringing that’s going to extract the world inclusive of Barbados from the economic turbulence which exists.

Standard and Poors the downgrader Arthur’s lapdogs were so happy hear is asserting Arthur’s return will not make an iota of difference.

One thing is certain a BLP returned to power will bring a level of vindictiveness a thirst for revenge unheard of the the post slavery annals of Barbabdos.

  13. LOOK

The recent S&P downgrade was MAJOR NEWS due to Arthur and the BLP. Arthur and the BLP surely have forgotten that Barbados received (3) S&P downgrades during the day of their government. Arthur and the BLP surely have forgotten that Richard Francis, an S&P associate in 2005 . . . . stated that the [Barbados] deficit of ten per cent was “too high” and the debt level of between 43 and 50 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), although less than a half of Jamaica’s and is even smaller than St. Kitts-Nevis’, was unacceptable and should be reduced if the island were to maintain its high credit rating. Francis further stated that the S&P worried about the Barbados deficit which he said should jump even more. Sooooooo the S&P in 2005 worried about the Barbados deficit problem.

Bajans did not deserve David Thompson and likewise do not deserve Owen Arthur. David Thompson we know was not an honest man. His involvement in CLICO proves this. Owen Arthur likewise is not an honest man. That 75,000 campaign check that went into his personal banking account proves this. Al Barrack, the Codringer family deaths at Arch Cot, Britton Hill and the Nigerian water heater mess are yet other reasons that proves Bajans do not deserve Owen Arthur.

Owen Arthur, at moment should be a prisoner at Dodds with Mia Mottley and Dale Marshall accompanying him. The Alaskanian senator, Ted Stevens was convicted of receiving over a quarter of a million dollars in home renovations, a new SUV and other gifts from VECO. He (Stevens) knowingly violated United States ethics laws. Now, now Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley and Dale Marshall gave VECO a government contract “without tender”. Certainly, VECO gave them, Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley and Dale Marshall something for such generosity. Of course, they did. VECO built the prison at Dodds in St. Philip. Surprise! VECO has no record of building prisons. Those record could be made available to Barbados. The BLP and DLP may NOW have received those records from the United States FBI. Those records possibly will show payments and gifts to Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley, Dale Marshall and David Thompson.

David Thompson made no effort to pursue the VECO matter or those he knew were involved because he himself got a piece of the VECO pie. Maybe. The IRS and FBI in the United States seized millions of VECO records. Those records show payments and gifts surrendered to Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley, Dale Marshall and David Thompson. Maybe. Both the BLP and DLP had some of the CLICO pie. The DLP though had an awful lot more. Owen Arthur invited the 75,000 campaign cheque into his personal banking account knowing it did not belong to him. David Thompson made no effort to convict him. Owen Arthur, he knew was a dishonest man but he (David Thompson) knew that he himself was a dishonest man. What you do in darkness will come to light” (New Testament/I Corinthians 4:5). Barbados according to the United Nations has lots of theft. There are perhaps pointing fingers at those corrupt laws and certainly those corrupt politicians: Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley, Dale Marshall and David Thompson. This is quite obvious and applicable to CLICO, VECO, the Arch Cot land mess linked to Mia Mottley, etc.

The Barbados judicial system MUST change, but politicians in Barbados will NEVER allow it to change and or allow it to change them. The United States is better equipped to punish its politicians and or those in government positions and does it. Rod Blagojevich, a former Illinois governor was convicted of federal crimes and sentenced to 14 years in prison. He was the 4th Illinois governor convicted of federal crimes. Just recently the United States House of Representatives voted to hold Attorney Eric Holder in criminal contempt of congress for failing to provide to it documents of vitality. Government laws in Barbados MUST change simply because Bajans are publically raped, knowledgeable of their political offenders [Owen Arthur, Mia Mottley, Dale Marshall, David Thompson, etc] but handicapped unable to defend itself. The people of Barbados has been hurt and deeply wounded by both government parties, the BLP and DLP. Time for it to stop. STOP THE MUSIC. Bajans could do better than Stuart but without Arthur. Let that dog lie dead, Owen Arthur. Give him a bottle and keep him in retirement.

  14. Alleyne Arthur supporter

    let us face the truth

we called owen “alleyne Arthur” to save us in 1994 and we saw a period of economic growth and improved standard of living for over a decade.

we threw them out as we believed they were corrupt and full of themselves.

now that once again humpty dumpty economy had a fall and there is no plans on how to put him back together again, we are calling Owen

Alleyne Arthur to be our saviour again. the proof is that a drunk Owen Alleyne Arthur is the most capable person to get us out of this mess and has a far better chance of getting us out of this economic mess than any of his sober rivals. wev have never been reduced to junk bond status before.

have a drink, be merry and save or economic backsides owen, please

Lord knows what we will do the next time we have an economic crisis and Owen is no longer with us.

  15. Good day! I know this is kind of off topic but I
was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
