Office etiquette: Is it wrong for me to say, “Wow… Nice tits!” ???

Boys will be boys – especially if the girls encourage them.

Does it matter? Is the President of the Barbados National Council for Parent Teacher Associations being unreasonable in her observations?

The president of this country’s National Council for Parent Teacher Associations (NCPTA) is calling for the licence of the Wadadah Cultural Club to be revoked, to prevent the annual Back2School fete from being staged every Crop Over festival.

Rhonda Blackman told the WEEKEND NATION yesterday that she still had “grave issues” with the staging of the event, since it not only promoted misuse and defacing of school uniforms, but sent a horrible message to Barbadian youth regarding respect for those uniforms, as well as a mixed message regarding their behaviour.

… from the Nation article Wadadah under heavy criticism

My friends remember that two years ago at work I was savaged by management, torn to pieces really, because I had the audacity to get caught looking at some very nice cleavage sported by the woman in the next office over. I was cautioned about my ‘roving eyes’ and sexism. The bosses didn’t like my humorous response that maybe I should craft my pants to show an inch or two of the python – just a hint – for the sake of fashion. I’m so damned confused at work I don’t even want to say hello anymore to anyone wearing a skirt and that includes the 54 year old division manager.

Girls, if you want to let it hang out – expect me to stare. And don’t be surprised if nothing gets done during the weekly strategy session: you wave that thing at me and I have other strategies on my mind. That’s the way the good Lord made me.

I’m a man.

Can you tell me which school this uniform belongs to?

The answer to the question in the heading is yes, it is wrong.

Is this really a National Issue?
I personally don’t care for this event myself, but like Pork-Lime and other Crop-Over events, it represents changes in our culture that for bad or good, are here to entertain the masses of mindless and few mindful individuals.
These are adults. If they want to fete in their school uniforms or in school uniforms not of their Alma matter, so what! Why do older Barbadians always want to tell adults how to be. You guys are securely stuck on stupidity and mediocrity. You are the problems in this country. You are irresponsible and that’s why the younger generations following you are also irresponsible. They saw and learn’t that behavior somewhere besides t.v.
Look to ban or license this event, and the backlash and ensuing pain will be legendary, even by Hell’s standards.
The country and its economy needs to be fixed and badly. Focus on that. Not feting by younger folk.
    Blinking , blundering fools!

It is not good for society to be sexualising school uniforms in any way, shape or form. Panders to the paedophiles.

Leave the uniforms for the schoolchildren.

There are paedophiles even in extremely conservative Islamic societies.
Explain that away? By the way, the word paedohilia is a very old Greek word long used before Bajan school children left the sugar cane fields and pond grass meadows for the habits of modern secondary schools.

Why is it OK for women to wear outfits to work which expose a cleavage? Even with the largest set of boobs it is always possible to conceal what is basically, an invitation. In many jobs where women have to interact with the public or indeed, other workers, there is a dress code. Dress modestly, the workplace is not about scoring. You can still look beautiful and sexy in a suit; wearing a skirt of an acceptable length in this day and age, high heels etc. but not putting it all out there. Bank tellers, air hostesses, nurses, all are expected to not reveal a cleavage; please spare us the sight of your mammaries. It’s true that the majority of people meet their future spouses in the workplace, yet you can’t expect men to not notice a big wobbly cleavage at work and then be accused of sexism! I say, put the breasts where they belong, inside a modest top, don’t invite a snigger. If the rest of your body looks fantastic you are lucky but that still does not mean it is OK to go on about your “python”, great as it may be.

i wish everybody had a python like mine, there would be no more war and every woman would be happy.

Give it 5 years before the tits grow to an adult size. Who the fuck, really who posted this? What work do you do? Are you a teacher? These thoughts are wrong…
