Religion, babies and global population growth: I couldn’t stop watching Hans Rosling

Hans Rosling had a question: Do some religions have a higher birth rate than others — and how does this affect global population growth?

Once you are a minute into this, I doubt you’ll be able to turn it off… I couldn’t. Just wait until he gets to the moving trend charts. Brilliant!

    Hi John,

Isn’t it fantastic? Gives hope for the world too, doesn’t it? The population growth is destined to slow and we will be able to adapt and progress if we put ourselves to it.

Great presentation, but I think he left out a very important factor….that is causing, and will continue to cause a decline in the birthrate. That factor is Homosexuality….two men cant produce a child, and neither can two women. The rapid increase throughout the world of this lifestyle, and its acceptance, including Gay Marriage being made legal in many places, must have a significant effect on the number of babies being born in the future.
