- Afra Raymond fired from CNMG. My contract with CNMG was as a Commentator with a one-hour current affairs program to be aired alternative Sundays and weekly editorial slots on Friday mornings as part of the ‘First Up’ program. – 4th November 2010 – see either Caribbean New Media Group fires journalist Afra Raymond, stops his CL Financial, CLICO fraud coverage or ‘Termination of Services‘ or Afra Raymond let go from CNMG
- Fazeer Mohammed fired from CNMG. Fazeer was the popular co-Host of the leading breakfast TV show ‘First Up’. 6th November 2010 – see FIRED!
- TnT Mirror and I95.5FM are subjected to an embargo in respect of State advertisement – both these outlets have been identified as being strongly critical of the present Peoples Partnership government – see State firms using ads to punish – MATT issues a statement – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Communications denies the existence of the advertising embargo.
- Marcia Henville suspended from 102.1FM in August 2011. Marcia was the outspoken livewire who led a highly-popular drivetime talk-show examining current affairs. Continue reading
