Barbados Today publishes love letter to… Mia Mottley

Did the DLP or BLP plant this story in Barbados Today… or could it have been…?

Far be it from us to ever mention that anybody was inspired by, or plagiarized from, Barbados Free Press. We’ll leave it to our readers to come up with their own opinion after considering the following…

October 15, 2010: Barbados Today article “Enamored with Mia” (above and at Barbados Today)

September 28, 2010: Barbados Free Press article Mia says “Hard Times a’ comin’.” Cliverton says she looks sultry…

And we can’t help but mentioning the Viagra article under the Barbados Today Mia love letter. Nice touch!

I guess all is fair in love and politics ‘pon de rock.

Whoever wrote the Barbados Today love letter was probably inspired by Cliverton’s drunken scrawl in September. It’s not plagiarism but I see bfp’s humorous take on the Mia love letter.

    Mia on top.
    Viagra nearby.
    Must be heaven.

BFP you pick up on that too? Hahahah I nearly shit myself laughing when I saw this. I mean Mia is a beautiful woman but I am not so sure I want to see her in a Bikini. This is one of those cases were I love the face ehhhh not so sure about the body.

  4. I swore Cliverton went Mainstream?

    Hey Ian,

After I sobered up I laughed and let the September “sultry” article stand. If you can’t laugh at yourself, why bother doing anything! 🙂

We’re not big fans of Barbados Today’s editor but we have to admit that the product is good and a change from his old venue.

Here’s a question for you: Given the rumours of who is funding Barbados Today, will that news site give proper time and accurate coverage of the Arch Cot Inquest?

And how about you? If your place isn’t ready, you know you’re welcome to publish here and when you are ready we will keep our titles, kill the content and direct all traffic back to Bajan Reporter or whatever arrangement you like. Publish as comments, it’s up to you. We just think it is important that somebody with integrity and professional journalism skills covers the Inquest in a major way and you are the only name that comes to mind right now.

Live from Roebuck Street , Mia Mottley has just arrived in a jet Black Limo surrounded by FBI agents.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Owen Arthur and that infamous FBI report he spoke about years ago !

I will keep BFP readers updated.
