Strange Scientology beliefs: Galactic confederacy and humans possessed by the ghosts of aliens
There are a series of “motivational” commercials now being played before the standard ads and trailers at Olympus Cinemas.
These commercials have high production quality but are relatively corny with themes that at first seem biblical (don’t be promiscuous, honour your parents), then stray off the usual commandments agenda (take care of yourself, be temperate.)
They are sponsored by “thewaytohappiness.org”, which if you follow the link yourself you will see is a website for “a common-sense guide to better living” based on 21 precepts written by L Ron Hubbard, founder of the Church of Scientology.
“According to this Scientology story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. Scientologists at advanced levels place considerable emphasis on isolating body thetans and neutralizing their ill effects.”
“Most auditing requires an E-meter, a device that measures minute changes in electrical resistance through the body when a person holds electrodes (metal “cans”), and a small current is passed through them. Scientology asserts that watching for changes in the E-meter’s display helps locate engrams.”
… from the Wikipedia entry on Scientology
As an atheist, I find Scientology more or less as ridiculous as any other religion (probably more to be honest – galactic confederacy and humans possessed by the ghosts of aliens), but I do think it’s interesting that they are here in Barbados. Actually, I think it’s kind’ve cool.

The Way to Happiness is the soft sell. Wait till you get into the sociopathic hypnosis routines.
Don’t be fooled. Scientology is worse than you think.
So are the Mormons.
Next there will be a shop opening, somewhere like Sheraton (where young people gather) offering personality tests. Then the ones who are deemed vulnerable & impressionable will be offered “counseling” at a cost, with will seem very affordable at first & the vulnerable will suffer from the effects of Scientology. Once you’re in they are extremely reluctant to let you leave. Scientology is not a church, it is a cult. Regardless of what Tom Cruise & his buddies say.
MORALITY IS NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS !!!!!!
CBC is also pushing “The Way To Happiness” which is satanic and seeks to control minds and ……… at the same time, for Christians, have nothing to do with the redemptive work of Jesus Christ !!!!!
How can Christians, claiming allegiance to Jesus Christ and none other, sit comfortably in their homes, allow CBC to infiltrate homes and minds, spread anti-christian teachings in the name of morality, and say nothing? Where are our Pastors, Priests, Christian intercessors, Youth Leaders, Sunday-School Teachers, Christian Educators, IVCF/ISCF/UCCF members etc.? Why are we allowing our nation and future generations to be destroyed, not because of “lack of knowledge”, but spiritual laziness? When are they going to awake out of our spiritual coma and destroy the enemy’s weapons?
Please read, investigate yourself and ensure that these messages which have been allowed to infiltrate our homes are condemned and the minds of our people and children protected.
My daughter recently returned home from a Key Club sponsored dollar coin collection with a plain white envelope containg literature on Human Rights. She said that it was given to her by a man at one of the booths set uo close to the collection point in the Independence gardens/former Car park. I researched the sites listed in the literature and they led ultimateley to Scientology.
I am concerned on several fronts- Scientology should be up front with any promotion to win converts -the plain white packaging seemed deliberately misleading
There were many young adults at the event -were they the target for a religion whose recruitment tactics are questionable -read cases against Scientology in Germany, Australia , France and other countries -There have been convictions against the Church for these practices
I am concerned as a parent -Thanks for being on the alert. I always get the real news from B’dos Free Press
Thank You
Maybe “E” should join!!!
Maybe “E” should join!!!If he thinks it is cool now he might not be saying so later in Hell fires
Ummm…
These guys believe in ALIENS! Dude…
Wow.
Hail Xenu! You should link to the South Park episode on Scientology.
Beliefs and religions are all actively trying to recruit people and I believe that bajans have enough common sense once they get down to the nitty gritty to know the right thing to do, after all, many of us believe in spending lots of money buying expensive costumes every year and “wucking up” in the streets. some might say that is as stupid as believing in aliens. and what if they are aliens who knows…lol. Thing is the material how ever corny in my opinion can do more harm than good, the messages how ever corny has substance. and I actually find some of them entertaining. however I have not visited the website and never intended to untill this article, maybe the writer is using physiology to bring us this Scientology message who knows. honestly you really have do dig deep down to get to this Scientology from the website I am yet to find anything beyond the normal perusing, and now if its not facebook.com teenagers dont seem to have much interest in it. and why target Olympus its being shown on television why not put a logo of CBC, that has a wider audience . . I think the writer of this article would be better off doing a piece on the South park series, seriously.
if salvation from the eternal damnation of hellfire hinges on the honest, wholehearted belief that a dead diminutive ethiopian dictator was the reincarnation of christ, then 99.99% (actually more) of the earth’s population, living and dead, will not get to see the rolling green fields of rasta heaven.
Why have the Hare Krishnas snubbed us?!
THERE IS NO GOD!
keep that away from sweet trinidad and tobago
Check this out who brought them to the Dutch Antilles. The same person who is now to screen the internal security and the government of Curacao.

Remember the blue asbestos scandal in Curacao Friday, May 16, 2008 ??? And they are still around thanks to this woman all these Islands are little by little being rediscovered by them with cultish atheistic religion brainwashing
By the way they are now in Barbados after they was in St. Lucia. Where to next??? How many governments and police are with them??
