Dear Barbados Free Press readers,
Please help me locate Sam Green and Carl Clark. My USA Company, Opelika Manufacturing, had a garment factory near the airport in the late 70’s. Sam Green was our plant manager and Carl Clark was our lawyer. I loved my visits to Barbados and would like to make contact with these two fine men! I want to plan a vacation in Barbados and would like to see them again.
Thanks for your time and help in this matter.
Michael Oliver

I am not sure about Sam Green, but I believe the Carl Clarke you refer to was not a lawyer, but the late Dr.Carl Clarke, former Minister in a former DLP administration.
I suspect you have got the portfolios wrong. I say this, because Dr. Carl Clarke used to work at the Industrial Development Corporation where I believe he was instrumental in helping to set up the enclave company, Opelika.
Hope the above would be of help.
Roy
Hello Michael,
I forgot to mention.
You refer to Carl Clarke the lawyer.
There is (or used to be) a lawyer called CARL CRICHLOW who was fairly popular in the late 1970’s/1980’s.
I am not sure what became of him
Roy
CARL CRICHLOW is still around, as a matter of fact he is my Attorney at Law. He operates from an office just opposite the Central Banak.
