Had to laugh and cheer!

Barbados’ #1 unofficial Park Ranger Julian Glyne William Hunte sings Julie Andrews (without the dress) to promote No Plastic Bag Day.

Hey… Environment Minister Denis Lowe never showed and never sent a stand-in – but the island-wide first annual No Plastic Bag Day was a huge success because IT HAPPENED. Thousands of shoppers heard the message and did the right thing.

We, the people, can make good things happen for Barbados.

Screw the suits who’d prefer to drink champagne cocktails in New York City. We don’t need dem.

    the only time I ever heard that phrase was in the movie The Godfather Part II.

    Plastic bags are the devil. All I see after watching a documentary about them is plastic bags rolling around everywhere outside. Makes me sick to my stomach to know our world’s beauty is hidden under garbage.

    Plastic Bags????
    The only way to stop BAJANS from littering etc is to do three things……….
    (1) commence a deliberate brainwashing of children of ages two years to adult.
    (2)Impose a fine similiar to that of the seat belt era… remember,,,,,I, You, ME, and de dog call booo hated seat belts,,,BUUUtt $500.00 we truly love,,so we were trained to use seat belts or else…
    (3)Reward people with say $500.00 for every litterer they catch on camera that is prosecuted…that means the hungry will ensure that those litterers ARE PROSECUTED…
