Rihanna loved her birthday gift: midget porn star lapdance

Birthday party with Barbados Ambassador for Culture & Youth

It’s nice to see that the Prime Minister’s choice for Ambassador for Culture and Youth has finally found a decent boyfriend named Matt Kemp who respects the girl enough to get her everything she could want for her birthday.

Everything in this case meaning being entertained by a midget prostitute / dominatrix / porn movie “star” named Bridget Powers.

Bridget the Midget (Wikipedia link) as Miss Powers is “professionally” known, recently appeared at Rihanna’s birthday party complete with leathers and whip and put on a lovely personal performance for our Culture and Youth Ambassador.

Videos and photos posted online showed the public that, like all Bajans, Ambassador Rihanna enjoys nothing more than a good lap dance by a prostitute who has starred in over 100 porn movies.

Dear Rihanna: If you swim in a sewer…

As an aspiring movie actress herself who has accepted a role as a dominatrix prostitute in the upcoming movie The Last Dragon, I can’t imagine how honoured Rihanna felt to be in the presence of – let alone be entertained by – a movie star like Bridget Powers. “Bridget the Midget” has given the world such classics as “Bridget the Midget takes a huge black ****”, Whack Attack 8: Straight Up Their Candy Asses!, Mechanical Elf, Little F*****s, Pint Size P***y, Cellar Dweller 4, Sodomania and Slop Shots 4.

Dear Rihanna: Why didn’t you walk out?

Many of Bridget’s best works can be seen at FreakyMidget.com or Deviantclip.com, as the self-billed “leader in extreme midget porn”.

Yup. What a class act and trio: Matt Kemp for even thinking of such a “birthday gift”, Rihanna: for not leaving the room…

…and Bridget the Midget? You can hardly blame her. For 15 years she’s been willing to do pretty well anything for money according to several online interviews. Hey… Bridget can apparently do some wild things that involve launching eggs across the room. I wonder if that was part the entertainment for Rihanna?

Classy!

Prime Minister Thompson couldn't resist naming Rihanna "Ambassador for Culture and Youth"

Mr. Prime Minister… It’s about time, isn’t it? You got us into this. Whatcha gin do ’bout it?

So sad to see this. Check out the latest pics of her in the Daily Mail of today and most of all the comments. But I presume that we are finding out that her voice is not really to the standard of other singers even though some may still think so. The exploitation by JayZ and others will at the end of the day leave her penniless and ostracised by her peers in the industry. She had better check herself and move away from her present management team before it becomes too late. Exploitation of talented people has happened and can happen again.

  2. Wunnah beating a dead horse unfortunately. She will do as she please. Just do like I do think of her as a girl from Barbados but not someone who’s actually representing Barbados.

  3. Yuk Yuk

This is so bad. What was Thompson thinking? There is no graceful way out of this. How do we and the PM extricate ourselves from this situation in the best possible manner? I have no suggestions.

    Oh. My. God.

  5. Proud Bajan

Why can’t we give this 22 yr old woman appreciation for putting Barbados on the map in so many Countries? We rely on Tourism for survival and Rihanna has done more positives then negatives for Barbados. We all make mistakes. “He with out sin cast the first stone.” I am extremely sick and tired of hearing Bajans berate this young woman. As a Bajan residing in America, I am happy that finally citizens of other countries know about Barbados and are eager to learn more about us, and not think that all Caribbean people are from Jamaica. Bajans need to be more open-minded. We are living in the 21st century.

  6. Rumboy.

Proud Bajan – if that is the only way that she can find to put us on the map then in all honestly I would prefer not to be on the ‘ map ‘. Just check out the pictures that are going out in all the major papers. Secondly this island was on the map long before her behavior was being broadcasted with great Bajans who portrayed themselves with a whole lot more dignity… Sir Garfield Sobers to name just one. Sorry cannot buy your plea on her behalf. Her stage antics are disgusting to say the least.

  7. Proud Bajan

Rumboy, I stated that Rihanna has done MORE POSITIVES THAN NEGATIVES for Barbados. You need to come out of your “box” and realize the positive impact that Rihanna has on our name recognition. I have lived abroad for 25 yrs, and I’am aware of the necessity of tourism in sustaining the Barbados economy. I am certainly not lessening Sir Garfield Sobers contribution to Barbados, but he is only well known in Countries where Cricket is played, and that is certainly not worldwide.

Unfortunately, in the entertainment industry one’s life is an open-book. Go on RI! “LIVE YOUR LIFE! IN GOT NO TIME FOR NO HATERS.” YA young and ya will make mistakes. I appreciate your contribution.

    LOL!!

I can understand the prostitute, leather and whips—but a midget?

    What was she thinking? LOL

  10. What Jdid says, I am tired of whipping that issue after my Euro-Trash article…

  11. http://bajanreporter.com/?p=8393 My take on her being Dominatrix (maybe if it’s a small role then it explains the midget Dominatrix?)

Launching eggs across the room as stunt? I don’t want to know any more details, thanks!

  16. The Watcher

    Hmmmmmmmmm.
No look here. The girl is 22 or whatever age she is. Her private life is just that. How many of your self -righteous folk have gone to a stag party or the women’s equivalent of one if you are female? What about a strip club men( and some of you women who seem to be besieged with Penis Envy!). What the young lady does with her time in her privacy is just that. Let’s concentrate on building Barbados to a position of economic self-suffiency and stop being side-tracked by this type of minutia!

  17. Rumboy

Does leave one wondering as to whether we are the most educated nation in the Caribbean when we are forced to read a post such as that.

  18. yatinkiteasy

I think Rihana should think seriously about this new boyfriend she has…what a distasteful Birthday treat!

    @FIRE

Hi now we all can pick on you >You ignorant ranting raving maniac .Showing up on every blog spewing your ignorance.

  20. FairPlay

Well, at least the Ambassador had her legs crossed in the video clip. There must be a subliminal message there somewhere. Anyway she’s 22 and in show business. What do you expect? Walk away and become a laughing stock?

I hope she put her new boyfriend through the wringer when they got home for his poor taste and lack of good judgement. Who is he anyway when he’s at home.

Dear BFP you wrote “like ALL bajans, Ambassador Rihanna enjoys nothing more than a good lap dance by a prostitute who has starred in over 100 porn movies.”

Do not speak for me. J does NOT enjoy lap dances.

And are you an advertising agent for Bridget the midget porn star?

  23. @J: Um, BFP uses literary device of IRONY? You really feel any Bajan enjoys a good lap dance? (I do, but it has to come from a woman I know, not an anonymous whore) As for their listing Bridget Powers’ movies…. It’s to give readers an idea as to the level of taste and class involved with Birthday preparations?

  24. BFP, please release my comment, it answers J’s concerns…

  25. BFP

    Hi Watcher,

The Barbados Ambassador for Culture and Youth cannot have PUBLIC displays of this sort.

That is the whole point of our series of articles. Rihanna is not a private citizen. She is our Ambassador.

  26. The Watcher

    Hi BFP.

I would agree with you on your point in principle. But in a practical world, some things are not as they appear in the text book of life and socially acceptable norms.

For one, if we choose her as our ambassador, there should have been some sort of formal training in protocol befitting of that role. We choose her because she originated here, claimed us as her own, and was making waves internationally. In short, we hung on to her preverbal “coat tails” to get some of the exposure she had, even if only by proxy.

Secondly, there are way too many “opportunists” in the world that she lives in, just ready and willing to spill the minutest amount of “filth” on persons of her stature for a dollar. She does have a private life whether you like to or want to admit this. What’s next? Because she is our ambassador she should only engage in sex from the “missionary” standpoint! Sounds ridiculous you say? Nope. The path that we are headed down indicates to me that we are going there next. We will want to regulate and dictate down to the most intimate detail because we want someone to look up to and that person must represent perfection in our eyes.

We’ve got to leave these people alone and be able to separate their jobs from them as individuals. Can we ourselves live up to the expectations we have of them?

I understand the point of many of these articles and why they’re written, but this one goes a tad far and as I mentioned earlier, it is a distraction from the real matters that we have at hand.

Ri-ri as much as she is loved and awed doesn’t cause our tourist arrivals to spike or their spending to follow suit. So at the end of the day, as sweet as she is, and as much as we love her, let’s make sure that we have somewhere to call ours. Somewhere we can be proud of!

  27. Politically tired

If someone ‘surprises’ you at a Birthday party what are you supposed to do?, create a scene because you don’t like it or approve, better to play the game instead of embarrassing the giver & other party guests. Who really knows whether she loved it/hated it or was just being polite.

  28. BFP

Politically tired… Rihanna is an official ambassador of Barbados. Barbados comes before the embarrassment of a classless “boyfriend” who did this to her.

Rihanna is not behaving to the standard we would expect from someone who represents our country.

  29. The Watcher

    BFP.

With all due respect and not intended in any way to badger, would we (the populous of this nation) have accepted Rhianna’s nomination for the post of Governor General or Prime Minister? Why then is Ambassador so significantly different? We made a 22year old an Ambassador because she was popular and had lots of visibility. Not because she earned that title based on her vast experience and an impeccable knowledge of Foreign Affairs.
Many of us may not agree with her choice of a boyfriend, but that’s her’s. Needless to say, sometimes in that line of work, you can’t choose who you are with if you want to full support and backing of your respective artistic label. Either way, we support your notion that she should probably exhibit better taste and discretion in her activities, but alas, she’s 22 and you probably wouldn’t cast your vote for someone that age who was asking for the ability to radically affect you life. We’ve got to work with what we’ve got. At least for now.

  30. FairPlay

I must agree with “The Watcher” on this one. Can we be really be so rude or presumptuous as to tell (suggest to) Ms Fenty what type of party she can attend for her birthday or what type of gift she can receive? Come on BFP, it was a private party. If the international rags, their photographers and publishers had significant lives of their own to live, they wouldn’t have the time of day to mind other peoples business. By the way, a new book coming out has quite a lot to say about the past sexual escapades of a current United Nations Ambassador and British Knight as he rolled stones. Should they (UN) rescind her appointment?

  31. ''''''FIRE''''''

    RIHANNA -RI RI
THE BIGGEST THING OUT OF BABRBADOS
    LOVE YOU RIHANNA

THANK YOU FOR PUTTING BARBADOS UP THERE

    THANKS !

  32. See BFP? {Re – “FIRE”} Just a bunch of Mindless Zombies, all that matters is that Barbados is out there, even if associated with porn, that doesn’t matter – all that counts is Barbados is out there, right? This is the next generation we have to leave this country to? Ye Gods!

  33. Politically tired

I agree with Watcher & Fairplay, I don’t like what happened but it was a ‘private’ party & she didn’t know what her surprise was going to be I’m sure.

I really don’t like whats happening with Rihanna right now, the way she expresses her music, but I think you have look at what has happened to her in the last year/18 months & cut her some slack, maybe this sexually aggressive behaviour is a way of dealing with whats happened, a ‘don’t mess with me’ attitude. She’s very young, she didn’t ask to be an ambassador at the age of 20/21? Thank God she didn’t turn into an ‘Amy Winehouse’ rolling drunk or drugged out of her mind, she behaves a lot better than many in her industry.

  34. Midget Powers

    sauce on this plz

    @FIRE

RHI Biggest disapointment out of Barbados.

  36. Proud Bajan

The watcher, Fairplay and Fire, I concur…Well said.

  37. Bajan Girl

There used to be a time when Bajan immigrants schooled their children on the types of people to avoid when they moved to America. I guess they are not doing that any more. lol.

Rihanna was raised mainly by the Guyanese side of her family. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that her behavior seems so foreign to many Bajans.

  38. Bajan Girl

    Proud Bajan,

You said, “Rihanna has done MORE POSITIVES THAN NEGATIVES for Barbados.” I beg to differ.

Rihanna told a foreign reporter she started getting drunk in clubs in Barbados at the age of 14 and that, that is what Bajan teenagers do. There is a YouTube video of the interview.

She told a foreign reporter Bajans don’t like to see each other get ahead.

She told a foreign reporter going to school was her least favorite thing to do.

She told a foreign reporter her mother had to quit a job as an accountant because of the catty behavior of her mother’s Bajan coworkers.

She told a foreign reporter that she enjoyed the fighting scenes in a supposedly violent movie she said was her favorite movie of all time. She went on to say she used to physically fight with her brothers and broke a glass bottle in one brother’s face.

She told foreign reporters her father was a crackhead.

She tried to reconcile with Chris Brown after he beat her up. I think she would still be with him if the public outcry in the U.S. wasn’t so strong.

She told a foreign reporter she likes bad boys.

She got gun tattoos knowing there is an epidemic of gun violence among Black youth.

The exposed breasts look is her favorite look in fashion.

Following are a couple of headlines that appeared on internet websites when Rihanna first became famous:

RIHANNA ATTACKS!! CLAIMS ALL PEOPLE FROM BARBADOS ‘TALK CRAP’ (Media Takeout)

Rihanna Has Haters in Her Hometown (Just Jared)

When you put all of that information together, Proud Bajan, do you get a positive image of Barbados or Bajans? Believe me. Few people have visited Barbados because of Rihanna.

The overall message Rihanna, an ambassador for Bajan youth, is sending to Bajan youth is that school is bad; getting drunk, stripping, getting tattoos, and hanging out with “bad boys” is good.

  39. Gabrielle

I think it is pretty degrading the way Rihanna is deporting herself. Not because she is a celebrity and has a substantial amount of money means she has the green light to behave herself in the manner she is currently displaying;not because there are other people in society (celebrity/not) who do the same or perhaps even worst means we should overlook her behaviour. Those individuals are wrong too. She is making her lifestyle very public and as a result any one is entitled to publicly comment on her behaviour as a young woman. Who are we fooling? We all know that there are societal norms and values– no need to make foolish excuses for indecency. So then if it’s the 21st century we should make excuses for many things like Chris Brown smacking her, swapping wives/husbands, boyfriends/ girlfriends, orgies etc…? (and the list can go on). Not because something isn’t written law means that we do not have common sense to know what’s appropriate and inappropriate behaviour/deportment. God blessed us with that ability to think for ourselves and know right from wrong… or is it that we’re living in the 21st century so that there is no need to rely on or be guided by God or some sense of spirituality? If Bajans really consider themselves to be the most educated in the region (whatever that really means) then the one or two of you here making silly excuses are spoiling the whole bunch. Knowledge does not only come from school books, but from life– from the home… from us as individuals using the common sense God ingrained in us. But I guess common sense is not so common in certain parts.

It’s all well and good to have knowledge but the misuse of it means we are unwise. So all that talk of being the smartest in the region, yet talking BS otherwise just makes those of you making juvenile arguments really ignorant on so many levels– it’s a sort of 3 dimensional stupidity.

As a spoke person for Barbados she is being unwise. She is misrepresenting what is expected of her by the majority of her home society and the region. So she has money… does that make her invincible? Does that make her unaccountable? Does that make her better than you and me? Does that make her immortal?–NO! What is she Rihanna aspiring to be.. is she just going to live her life off the music and movie industry? Many of those other celebrities have degrees, went to some community college– are interested in studying other things so that they have something to fall back on. Shakira recently went to college a few years ago to undertake some sort of study– What is Rihanna really doing? So she is popular, has hits, struts around the stage that’s a gift? What is she doing to develop herself holistically? I mean really the average person who can sing in key can sing any of her songs. Her voice is NOT amazing. Alison Hinds for one has a far better voice, also Kimberly Innis… they can actually dance and sing– so what makes Rihanna think she is so special? Really. And there are many other individuals I can think of from Jamaica to Trinidad who I know have more talent than she does! Destra for one has a much better voice than Rihanna.

Rihanna is proving that she will do anything to be famous… to make people talk about or like her. If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

When any woman begins exposing herself like this, it is a sign of a deep seated psychological problem. A woman who “trashes” herself around like this will not be respected by the “typical” sex- driven man and will in turn be a turn-off to those males who are looking for a well respected woman, who is confident enough about herself to the degree that she doesn’t need/feel compelled to flaunt areas of her body. Only when Rihanna finds who she really is… will she stop this shameful parade. Some of these celebrities feel that they are gods and goddesses above all and everyone and can do what they want, when they want or however they want. This includes being abrasive with non-celebrities. This is BS. Rhiannas persistent “slutty” behaviour and over board bodily exposure is a fine example of a young woman who has such low self esteem that she has to resolve to “primal” tactics to get attention. It is not art!

Recently she was on international t.v. talking about names they had for each other in her camp… they call each other bitches etc… do you know what she said when the host asked her what her name was? She said “slut” and she laughed merrily. Well if that’s what she thinks of herself it’s no wonder she parades accordingly. But its the 21st century so I guess it’s okay if girls and young women, and even women accept that– right? BS.

Barbados didn’t need Rihanna to put them on a map. They were always on a map before Christopher Columbus’ rediscovery. There are way more talented people in Bim and there are people in Bim who are far more intelligent and doing things that are more noteworthy of what Rihanna has done. Remind me what exactly did she do? Has she donated money to harness and hone the talent of young Bajans.. is this a passion of hers? Or is she just floating on cloud 9? What is she really doing for Barbados? Has she started a home in Bim for underprivileged kids? When she actually starts giving back to her country and doing things for her nation unselfishly then you can say she has put Bim “on the map.” Till then all she has done is display how much she can do with her money/ how much of her nether regions can be exposed r pierced that is the negative mental stain left behind.

I am from the C’bbean… T’dad to be precise. I don’t hate Bim or Bajans because my boyfriend is from Barbados and he lives there. I certainly do not condone any of our artistes (in Trinidad & Tobago) immoral behaviour either; and I feel and write about it in the same way. We need to love oursleves to the point that we don’t sacrifice our sovereignty! Women need to realize that they only attract what they are…. if you come off as weak and needy– you will in most cases attract a man who will misuse you etc… if you dress a certain way as a practice you will attract those lusty predators who will use you then dump you or hold on to you for all the wrong reasons. Respect is earned. Let a man love you for what is on the inside. If he doesn’t then he is not even half a man but a “predatorial” rodent.

    My 2cents.

At age 22 Rihanna is still basically a child – a lucky and talented child, but still a child – growing and learning.

I am not happy with the way she is behaving, but it is reasonably clear she may be rebelling or “pushing the boundaries” (as children do) and/or under some kind of bad influence, such as the All-American gangsta culture.

Apparently Rihanna is yet to mature and set standards for herself and those she associates with.

Certainly this is not the kind of behaviour we would like to see of someone “representing Barbados”, but we have to remember that she is having her 15 minutes of fame and making the big bucks while she can in a different country and a different culture where anything is possible – and sometimes does happen.

David Thompson certainly made a mistake… before being “appointed” an Ambassador for Barbados she was merely “from Barbados”… but now there is an official stamp of approval on whatever she does, good or bad (with the ever-present cameras to record her every action). So IMHO Thompson should retract that title – using any excuse – if only to show her that with any title comes responsibility.

To be fair to Rihanna, if it was a birthday gift from her boyfriend she may not have known about the porno lap dance in advance… and perhaps such an inappropriate “gift” is an indication that she should dump this one too and move on.

I’m proud of Rihanna, that she is a Bajan Gyul who has the talent and acumen to “make it” in the business. But clearly she has some distance to go in maturing and knowing how to differentiate between smart and stupid… and how to firmly make the stupid people to go away.
