Will Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary Be Nominated For The 2008 Skål International Ecotourism Awards?

Media Release Calls For Nominations For 2008 Skål International Ecotourism Awards

We just received a media release from the Skål International Ecotourism Awards indicating that nominations are still open for the 2008 awards.

Back in November of 2007, we stated that Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary would be a natural to win this prestigious ecotourism award that is sponsored by some big names including Evian, Danone and Johnson-Diversey to name a few.

A win for Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary would be a win for Barbados and would garner positive international attention in an economic climate of increased competition for fewer tourist dollars. A nomination seems like a no-brainer to us.

Can Adrian Loveridge Drive A Nomination For Graham Hall Nature Sanctuary?

A requirement for the nomination process is that the candidate must be vouched for by a local tourism organisation or government. Perhaps our old friend Adrian Loveridge could lead the way here? Adrian is now on the Board of Directors of the Barbados Tourism Authority.

What say Adrian? Can we make it happen?

We are willing to do our part, but the whole thing will be stillborn without a commitment from the BTA to lend their support.

How about it?
