“In Barbados the Thompson Administration was swept into office on an anti – corruption platform and has managed to enact anti-corruption legislation after only a few weeks in office because it was a priority.”
… St. Kitts & Nevis Democrat article Integrity In Public Life
Actually, the article is very good aside from the fact that they are totally wrong about the Thompson Administration having already enacted integrity legislation.
Perhaps the author heard Prime Minsiter Thompson say that his DLP government would immediately adopt the draft Ministerial Code if elected – but the author doesn’t know that the government reneged on its promise.
Nonetheless, the St. Kitts & Nevis Democrat article Integrity In Public Life is well worth reading.
