Barbados Prime Minister Fails To Look Rihanna In The Eye

Senator Lynette Eastmond stopped by the other day and let us know that her website has undergone some improvements, so we thought we would have a look.

Yup… Lynette’s website is sure pretty and well-written. It is obvious that the BLP has someone giving advice to their candidates about establishing a web presence. Can’t fault them for that!

Hey – Where Are The Prime Minister’s Eyes Looking?

Senator Eastmond’s website is featuring an article with a photo of Prime Minister Owen Arthur presenting an award to our Bajan sweetie, Rihanna.

Now… maybe it’s just me… but Robert also agrees. Take a look at the photo and see if we are correct…

Just where is the Prime Minister’s gaze landing? Let’s put it this way – Owen just doesn’t seem to be looking Rihanna in the eye.

Not that any of us guys blame him at all. 😉

    Oh oh!

An Owen a newly married man! Ha ha!

  2. This might be one of the challenges/advantages that he faces because of his height.

I faced that challange also an got a slap upside the face! 🙂

It is extremely difficult for a heterosexual male to avoid looking at partially exposed breasts on a significantly beautiful young lady.

Give the PM a break. He was probably embarassed and intimidated and was more likely trying to avoid eye contact and his eyes landed where a normal male is likely to look.

    Lighten up fellas.

  5. Enquiring Minds..

    I agree.
There they are… ‘The Girls’… beautiful young ‘Girls’
at eye level, in a plunging neckline designed to be viewed. Rihanna is up over(above) the PM’s level.
    WHAT TO LOOK AT??

    Gi’ de man a break,do!

Hants says “Lighten up fellas”, but I don’t read this article as being critical of your Prime Minister. If anything it makes him human and he is not a bad looking man himself.

  7. well in certain countries if ya cant be taler dan de leader, she shoulda at least kneel down or something so so owen aint have to look up at she 🙂

  8. I am cracking, after all who can blame him he is a human being. Imagine yourself in his shoes (expressing it from a male perspective)

Well if height puts my P.M barely there at eye level, what was he to do? He’s not blind, pretentious, trying to peep out de corner uh he eye. The bare chest was worth de look. Lighten up folk. You see it really doesn’t matter where Owen gets his appetite as long as he eats at home.
