Hercules Bar – Oistins, Barbados

Good Evening, Friends…

Welcome to the Hercules Bar in Oistins, Barbados. The fish market is just across the street, so no need to ask how fresh the food is here. Rob – 'e is the best griller known to man. Dolphin like you never knew could happen! 'An when the Marlin are crowding de sea – you never had such a feast as at the Hercules!

But the best happens after, oh, maybe 2am. The band is still here, but the tourists have gone back to their hotels and rooms.

And the girl, she sure can sing…

Aah, so you save the best for when us poor shmuck tourists leacve.

if you have such animosity for the tourists, perhaps you shoudl just keep it to yourself.

    Hey Cricket Crazy

No animosity at all for tourists at all friend. Just stating a fact that MOST of the tourists head to bed by 2am…

When the place slows down, “the girl” stops frying fish in the kitchen.

Sometimes she sings for everybody, but sometimes she sings just for me.

some of my fondest memories of Barbados took place in Hurcules Bar. I met so many new friends. Being a tourist i was made to feel at ease, with all the locals. Friday night at the fish fry was something else. I partied all night. The karaoke finished at 5am, then it was time for some serious limming. Can not wait till June, when I retuern to your Beautiful Island. So make sure you have plenty of chilled Banks Richard……..see you soon.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but
    I had to tell someone!
