1.3 million signatures on petition to Stop Flogging Rape Victims in The Maldives!

Sign the petition to Stop Flogging Rape Victims in The Maldives!

15-year-old rape victim sentenced to be whipped 100 lashes in public

We at Barbados Free Press can’t understand why any thinking person would head to The Maldives for a vacation. They flog 15 year old rape victims for being raped, they simply hate western infidels and if you bring a Bible to the place you are likely to be put in jail or beaten.

Nice place for a vacation, indeed.

A few days ago we told you of another Maldives horror story about a 15 year old victim of incest, but it’s worse than we heard. Her step-father raped her for years and then when she became pregnant and had a baby, the step father murdered the child.

Then the Islamic Court sentenced HER to 100 lashes for having sex outside of marriage – for being raped by her step-father.

Frankly, that’s a very typical sentence from a typical Islamic court.

Now AVAAZ.org has created an online petition and they are up to almost 1.4 million signatures in only a few days – and when you watch the scrolling ‘recent signers’ column you’ll see a new name every few seconds.

To President Mohammed Waheed Hassan:

As concerned global citizens, we call on you to do more to protect vulnerable women and children. We welcome your government’s initial intervention in the case of the 15-year-old rape victim, but real justice will only be delivered when you end the practice of flogging in the Maldives, and change the law so that it better protects the victims of rape and sexual abuse.

Women should boycott Maldives tourism

Maldives Holiday

Why vacation where women are second class and punished for being women?

15 year old incest rape victim sentenced to flogging for sex outside marriage

The Independent: Maldives government moves to halt public flogging of 15-year-old girl raped by stepfather

The photos of the Maldives are always so beautiful – deep blue skies, crystal clear water, calm seas and clean tranquil private resorts – but those tourism adverts hide a seething Islamic fundamentalism that has taken over the government and the island nation’s culture.

Beautiful islands, yes – but hostile to women, westerners and all non-Muslims that they call infidels. Be prepared to vacation in a culture of hate where the government and many in the population conceal their laws and feelings only long enough to grab your tourism dollars.

Pity the women born in The Maldives. Only Muslims are allowed Maldives citizenship – all other religions are barred from being citizens even if born in the Maldives.

Why should women tourists boycott the Maldives?

Girls are still married off at nine and ten years old, young women are often whipped for having sex outside marriage, rioters in the streets broke into the museum and destroyed exhibits of non-Muslim history and culture – smashing thousand year old Buddha statues and burning religious books.

The Maldives: where you will be jailed if they find you with a bible or an icon of Mary on your computer.

The Maldives: where couples are offered marriage renewal ceremonies on the beach with the Muslim Imam saying the ceremony in the local language. Couples smile at each other – not knowing that the Imam is calling them swine and infidels and saying worms will come from the husband’s penis because he is not Muslim. The resort staff nods and smiles to complete the marriage renewal farce. What an indication of the inner feelings for western tourists!

Hey… nice people those Maldives Islamist crazies!

As a woman, choosing between Maldives or Barbados for next year’s winter holiday, there really doesn’t seem to be much thought needed, does there?

How about a Maldives Wedding?

If you’re still not put off by the state of the world in The Maldives, how about planning to get married or renewing your vows there? You too can have a wonderful ceremony…  Continue reading

DLP has ‘No Holds Barred’ discussion with Muslims: ignores Islamic abuse of women, intolerance of other religions etc.

Barbados Election Stuart Inniss

Fair trade: Muslims’ didn’t mention Donville Inniss sex business, PM Stuart didn’t mention Koranic instruction to beat wives

by Jason

What is a politician to do when a mosque community asks to meet and hold discussions? Obviously the Muslims are part of the general electorate so the politician attends and hopes to grab a few votes while keeping the foot out of the mouth.

That’s usually not so difficult with other religious groups, but with the Muslims the politicians have to tread carefully: because many of the Islamic religious texts, laws, social customs and teachings are in total opposition to a free and democratic society like ours.

There is also a risk that the general population will see the politician as either abandoning the values of our society and becoming a ‘useful idiot’ for the Islamists (those who want to see Islamic rule worldwide).

“The Democratic Labour Party (DLP) headed by leader Prime Minister Freundel Stuart engaged in an almost 45 minutes no holds barred discussion with the Muslim community at their Mosque at Kensington New Road, St. Michael today, touching on topics of education, energy, the Palestinian situation and same sex marriage.”

from the Nation article DLP team meets Muslim community

So Freundel Stuart, Donville Inniss, Patrick Todd, Michael Carrington and Richard Sealy attended the Kensington New Road Mosque.

Apparently, Minister Inniss did not bring his pet goat or hand out any ‘Orgasm.com’ trial memberships.

Nothing was said about the verses in the Koran that instruct husbands to discipline their wives by beating them. No mention was made about the unacceptable values being taught to the young people in the Islamic schools on the island such as that women are less reliable as witnesses in court than men, and that rape prevention is primarily the responsibility of women through the clothes they wear.

The Prime Minister said nice things about Muslims and assured the Islamic community that the DLP will not be implementing gay marriage or changing the law prohibiting anal sex. In return, the Islamic community didn’t mention Orgasm.com or Kinkfarm.com and will probably throw a few votes to the DLP candidates.

The ladies and gentlemen of the Barbados news media wrote positive articles about the visit and nobody mentioned that ‘diversity‘ only flows one way with the Muslim community and that the Koran says that Muslims who leave the religion should be murdered.

Altogether a fairly successful visit for the Prime Minister and his DLP team!

Gay rights, Women’s rights: Sir Ronald Sanders and President Obama did not speak the truth

UK Muslim Acid Attacks

One huge omission reduced the President’s message to soggy Pablum

by Jason

I was surprised by the lack of honesty in Ronald Sander’s new article published at Bajan Reporter. President Obama: The Man Unveiled is Sir Ronald’s assessment of the President’s Inauguration speech and a tribute to Obama’s focus upon gay and women’s rights.

The lack of honesty by both Obama and Sir Ronald is the truth that both deliberately ignored: the greatest threat to Gay/Lesbian and Women’s rights today stems from the followers of one religion: Islam.

2013: Muslim vigilante gangs patrol London streets

London: Muslim gay hate poster

London: Muslim gay hate poster

In the UK we’ve recently seen an increase in groups of young Muslim males enforcing Islamic standards upon citizens on British streets. Women with ‘immoral clothing‘ are targeted as are pedestrians carrying or drinking alcohol. The horrific Muslim acid attack on a young Victoria Secret shop girl mirrors similar attacks throughout Europe as a core of Muslims use violence to impose their beliefs upon others.

Can lynchings of gays and lesbians be far behind the acid attacks?

Hanging is the usual method of taking care of gays throughout the Middle East and Persia – although in Afghanistan they prefer to throw gays from tall buildings.

And in the midst of the ongoing Islamic-motivated violence against human rights, conspicuously absent is any kind of movement within Islam to stop those who use violence to impose Muslim beliefs and standards upon others. The Muslim patrols are a sign of things to come.

Over 90% of honour murders worldwide are performed by members of one religion: Islam. The Koran instructs men to discipline their wives with beatings. That is the instruction of Islam’s most holy scriptures.

“Against the reality of historical and current events concerning human rights for gays, lesbians and women, both Obama and Sanders are cowards who did not speak the truth.”

President Obama was silent on the role of Islam in using violence against gays, lesbians and women. Sir Ronald Sanders was equally silent.

He is the first President to identify discrimination against homosexuals and lesbians as an infringement of their rights and a wrong that cries out for correction. “Our journey is not complete”, he declared. “until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law, for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal, as well”.

Christmas 2012: The list of Muslim attacks, slaughters

It’s the same every Christmas and it’s getting worse with each passing year. With millions of Christians gone from the Middle East and North East Africa, and increased efforts to exterminate Christians in Malaysia and Indonesia, it won’t be long before vast areas are truly ‘Christian Free’.

And women’s rights? Gone.

Gays? Atheists? Critical thinkers? Dead meat, all of them.

Let’s have a look at some of the Christmas news this week…

Australia: Head Imam at Australia’s largest mosque issues Fatwa against Christmas

Saudi Arabia: 41 arrested for plotting to celebrate Christmas

Nigeria: Muslim gunmen kill 12 Christians and burn two churches.

Muslims burn 20 Christian homes.

Pakistan: Christian girl shot dead.

Indonesia: Mob beats Christian girl for saying the name of Jesus. Judge jails Christian girl for 60 days for talking about Jesus

Indonesia: Mob throws rotten eggs, urine, feces at Christmas Eve service.

Iran: Muslim convert to Christianity arrested on Christmas Day

Why does the LGBT community give a pass to Muslim treatment of gays?

“The gay community should be in the avant garde that is fighting for the oppressed members of their community in the Islamic world. There is no minority in the U.S. that is as passionate, as fierce, and as effective as the LGBT community. What they have achieved, in relationship to their numbers, is spectacular and unrivaled. Why would they not apply their same premise of opposition to oppression and discrimination to societies that are abhorrent and monstrous in their treatment of gays? There is no group that I would rather have shoulder-to-shoulder with me, hands down, than this effective, uncompromising movement. And what could be more crucial, and as clear-cut an issue, as life and death?”

Arab Spring withers in Tunisia – One woman’s battle

“A woman gang-raped by the police was later prosecuted.”

by Souhir Stephenson

ON Oct. 23, 2011, I voted for the first time as a Tunisian citizen. It was the first election of the Arab Spring. Pictures of smiling, proud voters flooded the Internet. The world watched, surprised and hopeful. Moderate political Islam in the Arab world was touted as a possibility rather than an oxymoron.

A year later, we have no democracy, no trust in elected officials, no improved constitution. Human rights and women’s rights are threatened. The economy is tanking.

Tourism is dwindling. Who wants to vacation among bands of bearded savages raiding embassies, staking their black pirate flag over universities or burning trucks carrying beer?”

Meanwhile, our government and puppet president watch, without arresting these Salafist extremists.

We have one thing left from our revolution: free speech. That is why Facebook is filled with outrage and cell-phone videos of the madness; why we exchange skits and caricatures of our dictators, past and present. If something will save us, it will be our refusal to shut up again.

How Ikea implemented Islamic Sharia law

Women removed from Ikea Middle East catalogue so not to ‘offend’ Muslims

If you really want to know what Islam is all about, don’t bother to read what we or Muslims say about Islam and the Islamic laws called ‘Sharia’. Just have a look for yourself at how Muslim majority societies portray and control women.

Then read the Koran to see where all this oppression comes from, for the Koran is the source of the societal standards we’re talking about.

Read the Koran about how a woman’s worth as a witness in court proceedings is only worth 1/4 that of a man. Read in the Koran how husbands are allowed to beat their wives. Read in the Koran how men are allowed to divorce their wives in contrast to the rules for women wanting a divorce.

Make up your own mind as to whether Islam is compatible with a free and democratic society and the values that most Barbadians hold.

Ikea deleted women from Saudi version of catalogue

STOCKHOLM (AP) — Ikea is being criticized for deleting images of women from the Saudi version of its furniture catalogue, a move the company says it regrets. Comparing the Swedish and Saudi versions of the catalogue, free newspaper Metro on Monday showed that women had been airbrushed out of otherwise identical pictures showcasing the company’s home furnishings…

Hero pig named Mohammed saves drowning goat: Expect savages to riot and murder in response!

It seems to me most probable that insults to the Prophet Muhammad appear regularly in the modern world. After all, insults against revered figures in the world’s other major religions pop up all the time. As for Islam, a book such as Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses can be published anywhere. A thirteen-minute anti-Islamic video can arrive on YouTube, and my guess is there are others that have and will appear there. In some obscure land, far from the major media, a cartoon is published perhaps with the Prophet in an absurd pose. Why not a simple slur on Facebook? Who can control Facebook? Will a slur found there set off the mobs next time? And what constitutes a slur? These Islamic mobs keep changing their standards. What was a minor lapse of taste yesterday becomes a cause for terrible indignation today.

The metamorphosing angers of Islam have been a feature of the modern world for decades. Possibly the first show of anger was in Tehran with the takeover of the American embassy. But I trace Islamic anger back further, at least to Sirhan B. Sirhan, who assassinated the 1968 presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy, for some fancied transgression. From all I can tell, the angers of Islam are getting worse. Even with the presidency of Barack Obama, the Nobel Laureate, the angers of Islam have worsened. He began his presidency tendering the olive branch of peace to Islam. Now the Islamic world is afire. Mobs are burning our diplomatic installations in places where moderate Islam reigns, for instance, Tunisia. In Libya unspeakable desecrations take place against us. Egypt seems to be out of control, and Egypt is supposedly an ally and recipient of foreign aide.

The rest of world seems to be going forward toward prosperity. Even countries like China, India, and Russia are proceeding into the future. Islam, at least in Arab lands, is going backwards. It is doing something I would have thought preposterous in decades past. It is heading back toward the Middle Ages and embracing that time and earlier times with open arms. I think some day we will recognize it as the season following the vaunted Arab Spring.

Vacation paradise Maldives: Sentences 16 year old girl to 100 lashes for sex

Sex outside marriage = flogging in Maldives

The Maldives used to be serious competition for Barbados tourism

A Maldives court has sentenced a 16 year old girl to be publicly whipped 100 times for having sex outside of marriage. Of course, under Maldives common practice the girl could have been married off and having sex at 9 years old because the Muslim Prophet Mohammed made that the rule. (The dirty old wanker!)

100 lashes is a tough go and women sometimes die from the punishment. No big deal because under Islamic law they are only women and thus their worth is lower than men in any number of areas including inheritance, being a witness in court and being subject to religiously sanctioned beatings in the event they do not obey their husband.

The Maldives are known for publicly flogging women, but more of this tough love Islam is happening lately and no doubt it will impact the tourism industry in the country. (Indian Express: Maldives’ Court sentences 16 year old girl to 100 lashes for sex act.)

But it’s good for Barbados!

As we pointed out in previous stories, this religious fervour by Maldives Muslims is good news for Barbados. The Maldives, a group of over 1,100 tiny coral islands, is often compared with Barbados as a vacation and retirement destination. Although far-removed from each other geographically, both countries compete for the same United Kingdom and European travelers.

In the last few years though, The Maldives has fallen under control of very religious Muslims who adhere to the rules of their faith as laid out in the Qur’an…

  • Islam is the official religion and no other religions are allowed. Non-Muslims are not allowed to be Maldives citizens.
  • Guest workers and tourists are not allowed to bring Bibles, Buddha statues or other non-Muslim religious articles into the Maldives.
  • Guest workers and tourists are not allowed to pray to any god but Allah.
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited except at a few tourist resorts, and efforts are underway to ban alcohol entirely.
  • Buddhist and Hindu exhibits were smashed at the Maldives National Museum so that all traces of the religions that preceded Islam have been removed from the public record.
  • In January 2012, the Maldives shut hundreds of resort spas as being ‘un-Islamic’, and the powerful opposition announced that it was studying the complete ban of music for the same reason.

We think that the choice is clear for British and European tourists.

Barbados or The Maldives? Let me think about it…

Barbados: Friendly people, great beaches, wonderful food, the best rum in the world and we don’t flog unmarried women for having sex or imprison Christians for possessing a bible or a rosary.

Honey… forget about the Islamic paradise of The Maldives… book two weeks of party, sun, rum and sex in Barbados – and don’t forget we want to see the changing of the sentries at The Garrison and do some coastal fishing with Shaun Sandiford.

How about a Maldives Wedding?      Continue reading

Nonie Darwish: Islam mandates hatred of Jews

Islam’s obsession with Jew hatred.

by human rights activist and former Muslim – Nonie Darwish

Why Muslims Must Hate Jews

Recently a Pakistani religious leader, Pirzada Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai, said: ‘When The Jews Are Wiped Out… The Sun Of Peace Would Begin To Rise On The Entire World’. The same preaching is routinely done not only by clerics but politicians, in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc. This is not just Ahmedinijad, it is at the heart of Islamic theology that world peace will be established only when all the Jews are wiped from the earth. But few people in Western media are alarmed by this kind of rhetoric or care to expose this dreadful dark side of Islam’s obsession with Jew hatred.

I do not believe one has to be an authority on human behavior or group thinking to find out the obvious pathology in Islamic Jew hatred. It is time for all of us to uncover and expose this atrocity against the Jewish people. We owe that to humanity and the truth.

No true Muslim can see that such hatred is unbecoming and unholy for a world religion to focus on and that the credibility of Islam is tarnished by such hatred. No Muslim is allowed to go far enough to self analyze or question why such hatred. Muslims defend Jew hatred by claiming that Jews betrayed Muhammad and thus deserving of this kind of treatment. Even when I was a Muslim, I believed that the one sided story against Jews by Islam, was enough to justify all the killing, terror, lies and propaganda by Islamic leaders against Jews. To the average Muslim, routinely cursing Jews in mosques feels normal and even holy!

After a lot of thinking, analysis, research and writing I discovered that Jew hatred in Islam is an essential foundation to the Islamic belief system that Muslims cannot seem to be able to rid themselves of…

Do Freemasons worship Satan as the “Great Architect of the Universe”? Tony Jordan says so and many Barbadians agree

Freemason symbolism in Rihanna’s music and videos?

Most of the Freemasons I’ve met let folks know that they consider Masonry as something less than a religion, but more than an ordinary community group like Rotary or Lions. They certainly wouldn’t see anything sinister in being a Mason or they wouldn’t be part of The Craft. But are these ordinary folks being duped? Are they being tricked into worshiping ‘The Old One’ as Auntie Moses would say. (Auntie warns everyone not to say ‘the name’. Say anything else but don’t call ‘the name’. Well, that’s Auntie for you.)

Last Wednesday and Thursday nights, over seven hundred Bajans gathered at the Sanctuary Empowerment Centre to pray and listen to a series of talks called Secrets of Freemasonry – opened by Tony Jordan, a well-known anti-Freemasonry crusader.

A few years ago our old friends at Keltruth Blog ran an extensive series of critical articles looking at Freemasonry in Barbados, its origins, practices and Masonry’s influence in the Royal Barbados Police Force. I was surprised by some of what I read and came to the opinion that the Masons are a multi-layered hierarchy akin to a gentleman’s club at the entry levels, but with some strange and hidden goings on at the higher levels, and a history of leadership and influence in governments around the world. I once saw a piece on Masonic symbols and symbolism evident in the design and construction of Washington, DC and it really impressed me. I can’t remember if that particular article was at Keltruth blog, but I’m sure someone will find it and post it as a comment on this article.

Ian Bourne at The Bajan Reporter also reported on the supposed connections between Rihanna and Freemasonry, and the Masonic symbolism in her music and videos. (I can’t find the link but if Ian or someone wants to post it I’ll update this article.)

What do you think folks… Bajan Freemasons: dupes? Satan worshipers? misunderstood? Better than seven hundred people at the Sanctuary Empowerment Centre think they know the answer…

‘Jordan also explained that most members in Barbados only rose to the position of master and were therefore unaware of the satanic elements of masonic lodges, whose stated tenets were brotherly love, relief and truth.

Only those in the higher echelons of the lodges, from the 31st to 33rd degree, were aware that satanic worship was at the core of their rituals and that Lucifer was worshipped as the Great Architect of the Universe, he added. “They [masonic lodges] serve the same master: the Father of All Lights, Satan . . . . The rites seek to parallel much of what is in the Bible,” he told enthralled listeners.

Lord Nazir Ahmed, UK life peer, offers reward for kidnapping of President Obama, former President George W. Bush

The UK’s first Muslim life peer has offered a reward of 10 million pounds for the kidnapping of American President Barrack Obama, and former US President George ‘Dubya’ Bush.

Lord Nazir Ahmed (photo above) offered to fund the bounty to show support of Lashkar-e-Taiba – or ‘LeT’ Chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed. LeT is described as “one of the largest and most active militant Islamist terrorist organizations in South Asia, operating mainly from Pakistan”

“The LeT believes that violent jihad is the duty of all Muslims and must be waged until eight objectives are met: ending persecution against Muslims, establishing Islam as the dominant way of life in the world, forcing infidels to pay jizya, fighting for the weak and feeble against oppressors, exacting revenge for killed Muslims, punishing enemies for violating oaths and treaties, defending all Muslim states, and recapturing occupied Muslim territory.”

… from the Wikipedia entry for Lashkar-e-Taiba

LeT is designated a terror group by just about everybody including the US and the UK. Remember the Mubai terror attack where Muslim terrorists gunned down men, women and children, and mutilated a pregnant Jewish woman?

Yes, that was LeT at work.

If Lord Nazir Ahmed did say what he is alleged to have said, clearly he should be removed as a life peer and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

When should you beat your wife? There’s an iPhone App for that!

by ‘Thomas the plumber’

The Apple iPhone is an amazing piece of technology. Anything you want to know, you’ve got it in your hand with just a few queries. Last month in the middle of installing a sink I found that the new (EU) standard connector wouldn’t marry up with the 70 year old pipes I was dealing with. (I hate renovations. Give me new construction anytime!) What to do? Easy! Within a couple of minutes I was off to the store for the exact parts I needed for the transition… thanks to iPhone and Google.

Google is one thing, but iPhone apps take being a plumber to a whole new level. With Plumber Pro, I manage all my jobs, my clients, issue hourly and parts invoices, send estimates and process credit cards for smaller jobs. All from my iPhone. At the end of the week I send the whole mess to my bookkeeper who is supposed to integrate it into the business accounting records.

Only one problem: lately my bookkeeper has been lazy and inattentive to her business duties, and to some of her other duties as well. She’s also my wife and I’ve just about had it with her.

Talking doesn’t seem to do any good and I’ve come close to hitting her on a few occasions. Believe me, it would give me pleasure.

What should I do about this?

The family business and my happiness as the head of our household are suffering. My wife is lazy and disobedient. She spends most of her time watching the telly. I swear if I come home one more time and find her watching Coronation Street I’ll put my foot through the screen. When it comes to bedtime she’s always tired. Never interested. I’ve just about had it.

Thanks to the Apple iPhone though, I now have a guide to when it is permissible and advisable to discipline and even beat my wife. This is not something I’m taking lightly, so I did my research and I’ve found an iPhone App that deals with this important question: When should you beat your wife?

The alQuran iPhone App is exactly what I was looking for! It has an excellent interface, over 100 translations in 30 different languages, easy scrolling, and a wonderful search capability. I searched for ‘discipline wife’ and immediately was taken to 4:34. That was exactly the advice I needed!

“Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance – [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.”

I didn’t want to misinterpret this important Quran verse, so I looked up some esteemed Islamic scholars to read what they had to say. You can Google search it yourself and make up your own mind, but the scholars are in agreement with the Quran (how could they not be?). Dr. Ahmad Shafaat sums it up like this:

“However, to be effective in its purpose of shaking the wife out of her nasty mood it is important that it should provide an energetic demonstration of the anger, frustration and love of the husband. In other words, it should neither seriously hurt the wife nor reduce it to a set of meaningless motions devoid of emotions.”

So there you have it. Tonight I shall return home and discipline my wife so she will obey me as the Quran and the esteemed Islamic scholars teach. I won’t hit her at first, but if in three days she has not come around, I will obey the Quran. I think I’m going to enjoy this.

The iPhone Apps are truly wonderful!
