Hopefully it was Wilkins Kennedy and they get a chance to prove that it is a ponzi scheme – would not be hard to do.

Isn’t it time all the countries and governments affected like Barbados st Vincent st Luca and others united and harlequin and David Ames were properly investigated once and for all

Yes. They are affectionately known as Carter F*** by many.

Quite clever of Ames and Co to find out who was behind the Harlecon website..If they had Private registry of the website, and hosted it in Singapore, it must have cost a few dollars to discover who was the writer/owner.I guess this will keep other disgruntled investors from thinking of complaining that they have not seen anything after many years of handing over money to Harlequin for Merricks, Marquis Estate in St Lucia, and the two resorts yet to be built in the Dominican Republic.

let’s not forget that at the moment nothing has been proved either way. at the moment all we have is various court actions of harlequin and all their various companies against numerous parties and numerous parties vs harlequin et al. as i have stated before quite why a reputable firm of accountants/auditors would allegedly set up a website to divulge all this information is beyond me ( especially if it is not true??). what are the laws regarding auditors and whistleblowing???/ getting info out there in the interest of public disclosure??. could this have been their only route if internal legislation prohibited them from anything else?? someone in the legal profession may be able to shed some light on this maybe.

Go to Marquis Estate or Merricks or Las Canas and you will see no homes at all (other than a couple of token show homes at Merricks), nothing even started in St Lucia or DR. No more proof required than the fact nothing is happening despite so much sold.

If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck….its probably a duck.

Yes 152. It would be thrilling to see Wilkins Kennedy dig their heals in and defend the case vigorously … all the way to the High Court. Of course, Harlequin would never let it get that far. Even the litigious bully, Dave Ames, would realise that allowing the contents of the Harlecon website to be examined in Court would be suicide for him and his ‘business’, and the IFAs and agents who’ve represented this scam. Or scheme. I don’t think there’s a cat in hell’s chance that Wilkins Kennedy were behind Harlecon. Nor do I think this case will end up in Court. We can but dream though.

they have published another article today- basically regarding phil spencer investing there. balanced article on why he has invested and why he considers worth investing whilst also highlighting delays/ problems with planning/ current law suits pending on BB and some of the other developments as well as the fact that harlequin were mentioned on BBC rip off britain programme. maybe they are a little worried about allowing online access for comments given the previous problems encountered by others and have decided just to get “the facts” out there that cannot be contested and open for libel??? that way they can continue to report
