A woman with four children establishes a relationship with a well-to-do male with the sole intention of providing for her offspring though she says that she is in love. The man loses his job and the woman forms a new relationship with another male who is gainfully employed and can, according to her, provide the stability she wants for her children. When the second provider also loses his means of income the lady reestablishes her earlier relationship with the first male as he is now working again.
Women who enter into and exit relationships so easily could be accused of practicing the world’s oldest profession, even if they delude themselves that they are doing it for the children.
It is fortunate that the goodly gentleman is not a female or he might be mislabeled.
I seem to remember the then Prime Minister Arthur saying that “heads will roll” for the ackee tree, which was not cut-down, despite the two guys from the St. Michael South East constituency – who are still very close to Hamilton Lashley (the then Minister of Social Transformation) were ordered paid $15,000.
Wasn’t that the reason Hamilton Lashley tried to get rid of the then Permanent Secretary from the Ministry?
Wasn’t that the reason why Hamilton Lashley wanted to silence the then Director of the UDC or anyone who tried to get between him and the trough?
Based on reports then – it would seem that Arthur was furious. Why shouldn’t he? His CABINET HAD DETERMINED THAT: “ALL TREES WERE TO BE CUT BY THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORT (MPT) BUT ONLY AFTER TOWN PLANNING PERMISSION WAS RECEIVED.”
Both Rodney Simpson, who still organizes all of Hamilton Lashley’s community sporting tournaments – and the other guy – had the nerve to say that cutting down the ackee-tree was really a $22,000 job.
Mind you, that same ackee tree was cut by the MPT and taken away in 5 minutes. Neither Hamilton Lashley, Rodney Simpson nor his accomplice – were charged for corruption, but have now been embraced by the DLP to advise the DLP on its Camp Programme.
Yesterday Nation front page was a classic. Imagine! Hamilton Lashley, a former BLP Cabinet Minister saying that it was the first time he was invited to Illaro Court and that he was able to go upstairs and downstairs.
It is not Illaro Court where he should have been yesterday, but!!!
Tell me! As a former Minister, wouldn’t Lashley not have gone to the United Nations building in America; flown first class and stayed at the best hotels in the world?
Is this the same Hamilton Lashley who posed with Arthur and told the media then that: “David Thompson would never have made him a Minister?”
Did the Arthur’s not invite ordinary Barbadians to the prime Minister’s official resident for Independence and Christmas functions? Still, the real question now is:
“Having “acquired hammie,” “WILL THIS SO-CALLED DLP OF “INTEGRITY,” WHICH “SUPPORTS CORRUPTION;” “KNOWINGLY ENGAGES CORRUPT PEOPLE” AND – “PROTECTS CORRUPT PEOPLE FROM PROSECUTION” – RELEASE THE UDC REPORT, WHICH INCRIMINATES HAMILTON LASHLEY – “THE NEW FULL-TIME; HIGHLY PAID DLP CANVASSERS?”

Can you give us PROOF of these documents? Post ‘em up, THEN we can decide! The ORIGINALS, mind you, instead of these “copies” that seem to be floating around!
