Baby Michael St. James Flatley Is Named After The Barbados Parish
Flatley Family To Stay In Barbados For The Summer
Lord of the Dance and Celtic Tiger creator Michael Flatley and his wife Niamh named their son in part after Barbados St. James parish where they became engaged and own a house. This bit of Barbados trivia appeared yesterday in the Dublin Independent newspaper.
It can’t be a bad thing when a famous couple name their child after Barbados.
Shona and I saw Flatley’s Riverdance a few years back in New York City, came out of the theatre and immediately purchased tickets to see it again the following weekend. I didn’t know he owned a house on BIM.

what i would like to know is exactly what it is they love about Barbados…if it is the way a good cou-cou does slide down ya throat or how a mango long’s firey red-orange juice does quench the thirst of a gleefull child….
maybe they like the bajan dialect fo the people and the way that the rass…… can be used in one sentence in all parts of speech….
maybe they just love the fact that their investment in St. James(i mean the parish not the baby) is sound and will keep growing for them as well as pushing the average peasant further out that parish…(better for them a perfect picture of paradise has beautiful beaches cottages but no peasant people…
if you want Barbados to continually be in the eye of the rich and famous as a “paradise” with a price…then yes this is good publicity…but if you are a family in BARBADOS about to have your own little St.JAmes(i mean the baby now…) it may be scary to know that your house spot now belong to the Flatheads….i mean the flatleys…
please accept my humble apolpogy MM Lynch…i for your sake made that correction because i know you will be there sucking up to the new parents at their house warming brunch…

maybe i can now see why he is angry with David for talking about his costly Life style…
he may not be buying his supper but singinf for it…after all 5 brunches a week is five meals he does not have to pay for…then he can hit the constituency on saturday and get his fill of free pudding and souse…and eat from his family that he so reiterated on Sundays…
shoot maybe he is not living above his means after all….

Why is it that BHTA preside Mr. Alvin Jemmott and his croney are firing and threatening to fire all the staff at Divi South Winds when he full well know that he was sent from Amerillys for illeagly selling rooms and keeping the money.
Why would he tell the Divi owners that he is part of the government and he is going to let them start building condos on the property soon.
Next why is he so silly and arogant. Is he a real supporter or is he a bluffer who is dishonest.
Well ask Mr Jemmott why his bosses don’t know the real truth about him.
