What hurts me to is that there has to be people that know about these indifferences by our top thief but will just sit back and willingly let the man and his gang feed from the trough…but you know it will be too late when they do decide to open their mouths…and by that time Owen will be yachting in the south pacific with E.S.A.F. at his side laughing at how gullible and STUPID bajans were for letting him get away with ..what could be close to a billion dollars of tax money.
Do yah thing Owen $eymour…leave us like the bauxite industry in your former place of work.

When I first saw the similar themed photo on the on – line Jamaica Observer site …….the photo was depicting the ICC leaving Jamaica citizens holding the ” bat of DEBT ”
BFP,
Have done a good re – enactment of the same picture to suit the Barbadian context….!
The BFP…. Probably…… chose the title of this article and picture as a PRECURSOR…..to their long – PROMISED…..money – laundering STORY…!
Funny old life this is:
BLP & DLP…..promising at DIFFERENT times of their party life…INTEGRITY LEGISLATION…!
***** Broken PROMISE…thus far…!
BFP…promising at DIFFERENT times over the past few weeks….MONEY LAUNDERING STORY…!
Just as the GOB put up a digital counter to count down the number of days to CWC I think it should also put up a digital counter which shows the actual debt incurred for CWC and the count down to zero.
I think it should be placed a several strategic locations like:
1. Outside Parliament
2. Inside Parliament
3. On the Central Bamk
4. AtCBC
5. On Kensington Oval
6. On every flyover
7. In every school.
etc.
That way we can record our progress towards paying off the debt and remind ourselves and our children that we won’t let this crap happen again.
I watched Chris Dehreing, Chris De Caires and Pat Hoyos discuss CWC last night.
To a direct question from Pat Hoyos about the actual revenue vs projections I heard Chris Dehring say they were aiming at Saturn, knowing that they would probably only hit Pluto, but having now hit Mars, at least he could say they had gone where no man had gone before.
I turned off and went inside.
Now that we have reached Mars, can we send some of our politicians there and let them develop it?
May I make a suggestion to make it easier for readers to follow threads. Number them. Therefore when a reader returns to a thread, if the last read was no. 11, he resumes at no. 12. It would eliminate the searching for the last contribution read and speed up the process considerably.

Thanks for the wonderful and amazing cartoon. It has made my day and given me a great belly laugh. I needed that this morning. Have not had too great a day yesterday a lot of pain from the old cancer, letting me know it is still around. Will not be on today as I hace to babysit this afternoon. John, you are great
An excellent piece of political satire. The only problem is that the bag was not big enough. Maybe there are others bags in storage.

Unlike you I do not see much or any potential for improvement with the candidates that have been put forward by the DLP. The DLP is still in rebuilding phase with a hell of a lot of catching up to do and as you know there are many many like me out here.
?? and !! you guys need to stop following the BLP propaganda about the skills of the DLP of candidates. I recently took time out to compare all 30 candidates on either side and have concluded that the only thing the the BLP candidates have over the DLP is their experience in running a Government. But you really cannot get any worst than the BLP in this area.
The DLP candidates are well trained academically, have a diverse range of experiences in both private and public sectors, and good community work experience. They are much better prepared for managing this island than the BLP was in 1994. Remember that Owen had not even been a Minister before becoming PM. Mia, Liz, Rommel, Glyne, etc all had no Parliamentary or Cabinet experince prior to 1994.
So wheel and come again! The DLP candidates are collectively, a solid group. I have confidence in them.
I am glad you have confidence. I do not, just look at the comical behaviour of Kellman ( is he speaking to Thompson again) and Estwick, and the wimpish Lashley if that is what DLP has to offer they are in a sorry state.

I don’t think he called Jupiter’s name.
He probably thought Saturn, Pluto and Mars were more important to get across his concept!!!!!!!
(Sorry Jupiter!!)
Then again, maybe it was out of respect!

That is a good suggestion. I find keeping track is getting difficult.
Perhaps a good sign as more people are contributing. I was amazed a couple of weeks ago to be told on one day by two different people about BFP.
Both recommended it highly to me.
